No offense to the old owners but the Haversham is ever BETTER than before. The little changes are so nice, even the glassware and table settings. The Sham Slam is bigger portion and even tastier. Maya is the best server. So welcoming,friendly and attentive. Everyone should go there right away!

Visited the HH on October 3rd, to try it out after ownership changed hands. We last visited the HH in January and had an amazingly HORRIBLE experience, you can find my earlier review. Was wanting and hoping for a positive experience and honestly it wasn’t horrible this time, just disappointing. There were three of us, we sat at the bar, service was slow (place was slammed) but OK, ordered drinks which came as described and were fine.
We then decided to try an appetizer and see if the food had improved. As they came in a three we ordered the Sooner Sliders. Food service was terribly slow. When the food arrived the plate looked as if someone just threw the ingredients at the plate, a total mess. The buns for the burgers were stale. The meat patties while tasty were (even for sliders) ridiculously smaller than the buns, the onions were hanging off the sides, the tops of the burgers were just randomly placed some on top or kind of or hanging off……
Where is the quality control person on the line??? How does a sloppy hot mess plate make it to the customer. We went in with so much hope and left wondering why we thought things would be different.
Such a shame, maybe it will take time for the new owners to figure it out or maybe it will continue to a sham.

One of my best dining experiences ever. I’m not from the area but it was super easy to get to and is nice and secluded. We came here on the fly hoping we didn’t need a reservation and although it’s always welcome and recommended for bigger parties, we were able to get a seat immediately. It’s a beautiful location and they do seem to specialize in seafood (coastal RI) but they do have a ton of other options. It’s a vast, spacious location and the service, between the wait staff and the management is immaculate. We didn’t feel like customers, we felt like friends. Our server for the night (Sarah) was super attentive and fun and she did a great job and we got to talk to Dan (restaurant manager) who was equally a blast and was very friendly and really upped the ante for what I expect from restaurants in general. We’ll come back to this little secluded pocket of Rhode Island just to experience the quality food and the quality staff again.

Our experience at your restaurant was purely delightful. Teri Mitchell was our waitress. She was very polite, friendly, extremely knowledgeable about the menu and most professional. This world needs more servers like her!!
She recommended the Ribs. They were fall off the bone tender and did not disappoint! All the food was excellent!! We can’t wait to come back!!

My son and daughter-in-law were recently married at the Haversham in Westerly, Rhode Island, and I can honestly say—it was unforgettable. Every single guest mentioned it was the best wedding they’ve ever attended, and I couldn’t agree more!!
From the stunning atmosphere to the impeccable food and top-tier service, everything was flawless. The staff truly goes above and beyond to create an experience that feels both elegant and very personal.
My son and his now wife worked closely with Brendan, who was an absolute gem. Brendan took the time to understand their vision and brought it to life with an eye for detail and a calming presence that made the planning feel effortless. Nothing was overlooked—every moment was amazing and felt magical.

First time here. We had a great bowl of New England clam chowder to start.
Then we split a chicken caeser salad roll. The chowder was delicious. Could have been a little hotter. The wrap was boring. Lacked Caesar dressing flavor. It also had tomatoes on it. Everything was very fresh though. The fries it came with were delicious The bathroom was extremely clean And our server was fantastic

The thing I have the most issue with is when they posted on Facebook, I commented my concerns, and the issues I had with the restaurants service. You’d think they’d reach out to apologize, or see how it could be remedied. No.
They proceeded to block me. They clearly can’t take constructive criticism. I would have been happy to try it again if they simply addressed my issues. It could have been as simple as “Hey, I’m sorry that was your experience. Everyone has off days, please feel free to give it a second chance” And I would have obliged, as I understand one visit doesn’t define how good the restaurant is.
However, they decided to go and block anyone who had a bad experience (There were multiple people blocked). I was never rude, never said anything to bruise their fragile egos. Simply talked about my time there, and what happened.
Save your money, go somewhere that cares about the locals/people that want to eat at their restaurant. Because if you didn’t absolutely love it, they’ll try and silence you.
Any restaurant that can’t take the bad with the good is not the kind of place you want to spend your money at. If they don’t take criticism they will never improve, and if they don’t improve, they will fail.

Very homey atmosphere. I felt radar home when I sat down to dine in. The decoro was nice, i love how they had the same patrick’s day decorations up .
I went with the bourbon steak tips. The bourbon glaze is homemade, very good. I suggest to get aside to dip the meat in as well, if you like it extra saucy.
In my opinion the kid’s menu was decent portion size, flavor and all for the right place .

The term out with the old in with the new doesn’t fit this place to well. Prices for the quality of food is just atrocious. I have never seen in all my life a place less lively and seen people just not excited to be at their job. I used to go to this place all the time for the music, vibes , food and drinks and the comfort of knowing I would be treated well. Unfortunately since the new owners have changed up mostly everything including whats most important hospitality and the care for others. Seems like this is just another owner turning into a place to make a quick buck. Good luck
