Mission BBQ is a great choice when you want real tex-mex and don’t have the time to cook it yourself! We got the three meat platter – brisket, pulled port and smoked turkey. Next time we will pass on the smoked turkey – it’s a little dry. Friends had the ribs and they are done with a dry rub – very tender and moist. We had mac and cheese and fries. I can attest to their potatoe salad, collard greens. They also have a special Alabama White sauce that is not on the table – just ask for it and you will not regret it. Of course, the other six sauces on the table range from sweet to hot so try them all!
Next time we will try the brisket sandwich topped with coleslaw!

My favorite BBQ spot! Consistently delicious meats! I eat here 3 times a week, absolutely love the brisket, the fresh lemonade, the sauce flavors, they even hand out free samples to try new menu items, and the food is prepared quick and the portion sizes are great and when your done eating Ingrid is so kind picking up our trays, all the staff always provides great service. And now during February we are enjoying Free Meals, sides and drinks for loyal customers. The Boynton Beach location is the best.

It was our first visit at any Mission BBQ and we loved it. The lean brisket, the classic sausage and our sides, except for the fries, were very delicious. Being able to choose between six sauces at your table is great. And the soft drinks don’t taste funny because the machines are being cleaned daily and the water filters are being changed frequently.

This used to be my favorite place around for a quick bite to eat. But the food really is a far cry from the place it was when it opened. Prices are high which is expected, but the quality has become so inexplicably below expectations that I don’t think I will eat here anymore.
My last 3 visits were brisket that seemed as though it had been left out under a heat lamp indefinitely that was completely dry and inedible. Brisket where the bark was hard enough to pass as actual bark. And then this visit, where I made a good faith attempt to order pulled pork just like I used to which was not cooked correctly, so it remained in chunks, instead of pulled and just texturally unpleasant and unseasoned. Fries aren’t the typical bbq side but they are only crispy, fresh, and seasoned well like they used to be maybe once in every 5 times? I always thought it was charming that they made the fries fresh, and they always came out really good. I’m on a bad streak of greasy, soggy, fries that need to be put in the air frier currently.
This is just not what I expect, and it hasn’t been for quite a long time. These last three visits I’ve told myself it’s the last chance but I think I’m out of last chances.
If you put a plate of the current food up against one from 6 years ago not one person would think they are made by the same place.
I’m much further away now, and the food has gotten more expensive. I hope this place bounces back, but I think I’ve spent enough $$$ being disappointed.

Every employee that we encountered was amazing. From the time we walked in the door, being new patrons, to the wonderful cashier that helped us through it, and one of the most pleasant individuals by the name of Ingrid was out of this world phenomenal. We had a table of five and she brought us over some samples of some sides and dessert. Absolutely made our experience wonderful. While not local, we definitely recommended it to those we know here and would absolutely be back when we come for another visit.

If I could give 10 stars, I would. I’ve never experienced such amazing hospitality at any food establishment before, and I am honestly speechless. Amanda was so kind in explaining the menu to us as first time walk-ins, and left us near tears when she gave us a sampling of each of their AMAZING sides to try for our first time.
The pulled pork BBQ was fantastic and that Smoky Mountain sauce, I couldn’t get enough of.
My Mom got the ribs and she said it was fall off the bone and beautifully rubbed.
After coming here, it’s truly our new fave BBQ place in South Florida, and we’ll be making the drive down here a lot ❤️

Incredible meal! I stopped in as I was in the area to pick up items from Target. I grabbed a quick sandwich (pulled pork) with two sides (mac & cheese and baked beans). The food was served hot, quick and delicious. I paid around $20 if I’m not mistaken but it was worth the price. I would definitely recommend this business and specifically this location. This is my second visit and each time has been pleasant and enjoyable.

Mission BBQ catered our wedding. Amanda and her team was amazing! They were upfront with all costs, they were reasonably priced, they organized everything, came to the venue ahead of time to ensure a smooth day, and coordinated everything the day of the wedding. They even made sure we ate and prepped after wedding meals. We could not have asked for more! It was delicious and we highly recommend them for catering.

UPDATE: Owner reached out and invited me and my son back. The quality of the food was MUCH BETTER and we even met him in person. I’ve never seen him there before, so I know he took my feedback seriously. Lets hope the quality stays consisten once he leaves.
OLD REVIEW: I have to give this place a 2 star review only because the quality as of late hasn’t been what it once was. The service is 5 Star, and the food used to be at least a 4, but the past 3 times Ive been there with my son, the quality had been low. Brisket has been super fatty (half of the portion is fat), and the sides havent been good (watery Mac n cheese and over cooked fries). This place was our weekly go-to for lunch and sadly the quality has just gone down and is too inconsistent. We hope they turn things around because we really love what they used to be.
