So on three occasions now I’ve come to this location between 11-11:30PM and wasn’t served. The lights will be on and the building will have employees inside but when you pull in and press to order they don’t respond. If you stick around or talk through the speaker they will then turn all the lights off (outside) and simply not respond or service you. The employees were out of sight but one was a black man. On 2/3 occasions. Forced to go to the Green River sonic instead.

Have come to pick up food at this sonic location many times. It has the worst wait time in town. I don’t recommend coming here for an online pick up unless you are willing to wait 40min to an hour for your order. We waited 30min for a little sundae order, and we had to pick it up ourselves, after they told us to wait in our car for ‘a little while’, for them to give it to us. Again, this has happened to us many times, at this location. The Sonic locations on Burkhardt and North Green river road, are in my opinion, the better ones.

If I could give zero stars I would. Worst sonic ever, half the order screens never work, they never have enough staff, the wait time is horrible and most of the time they are rude. Sat for almost 10 minutes today with the red light button flashing and no one ever answered.

Tater tots are gross and don’t even taste like a potato. Cheeseburger had no flavor and wasn’t cooked completely. When they first opened their burgers were fried with a crispy edges and now they resemble and taste like McDonald’s. Poor sonic

The moz sticks were banging as usual but it would’ve been better if they could’ve given me any of the 4 cups of ranch I ordered for the moz sticks instead of 3 packets of ketchup and 1 of Marinara the meanies

This is the worst Sonic in Evansville. I have refused to go to this location for a long time but decided this evening to give them another try. We ordered ahead three drinks; a soda, a slush, and a limeade.
We pulled into a spot and checked in. About 5 minutes later another vehicle pulled in next to us and checked in but received their drinks right away. The lady running the food seemed more concered with chatting with a guy with a dog in the picnic area.
We waited about 15 minutes then when she finally came to deliver our order or was completely incorrect. We gave it back to her and told her it was wrong. She went back inside to remake it and while we were waiting again a second female employee who was sitting in a big orange truck beside us got out with a non uniformed male and went inside. The smell of marijuana that poured from the truck they were just sitting was so incredibly overpowering that we went ahead and left.
We ended up going to the Sonic on South Green River and paid double for our drinks but received much better service. I will NEVER go back to the Covert Sonic. Incredibly unprofessional behavior by your employees.

This review is for the morning staff. Sonic on Covert Ave in Evansville, IN needs to do freaking better!!!! I ordered a jr bacon cheese burrito with extra shredded cheese and zesty sauce. I didn’t get the shredded cheese, which supposed to already cone on it, and I barely got eggs. Me and my daughter’s burritos came out cold. The only thing that came out right was my daughter’s shake!! Customers pay their money, for your food. They should get what they pay for!!! DO BETTER COVERT AVE SONIC!!!

The guy that took our order was really rude. Asked for no condiments on a cheeseburger and he replied “so you just want it plain?” Have no time for us to reply or answer any of his questions.
I guess they only have dill seasoning to go on fries now instead of the pickle fries they used to have.
I can see why business has gone down at this location.

I’ve commented on this on another location before, but it genuinely feels intentional that the marinara sauce is left out when I get mozzarella sticks. It’s incredible how often it happens. I always order on the app, and I always make sure to order one (spending an extra $0.25) so that it shows up on the screen. I only ever get one, not the included one and the one I paid for, and I usually have to request it from them after they’ve brought me my order. Small potatoes, so it’s whatever. I just wish it didn’t happen every single time.
