My husband and I went for our Friday date night. We made reservations a week in advance. The staff was friendly and the wait time was minimal, since we were early. Our waitress Terionna was exceptional she was very attentive. The food was great and the margarita was superb. This is definitely a gem, it’s now our favorite place, no need to drive to G’ville anymore. We don’t mind paying for quality food and the servings were more than expected.

My sweet parents took myself and my husband here to celebrate my birthday, recently. We loved the whole experience! We sat by a scenic window and the food was delicious! Fresh and cooked to perfection. I highly recommend the prime rib! Prices were kind, too! The service was excellent and everybody there was very attentive and nice. They acknowledge you while you’re there and make sure that you have everything that you need. Looking forward to my next trip to South Carolina to visit my parents and to eat at The Galley Restaurant!!!

So I must say we usually love the Galley! Today some of the things were really off. Now let me brag first! My husband’s dish was amazing and of course we both sampled each others bites! He had the bison and shrimp special while I had the trout and crab cake special. While his was amazing and let’s be honest I should have ordered his. Mine was as flavorless and not crispy at all on the inside plus my veggies had dirt in them. On the flip side, my two wine selection a where great as was my husband’s drink. His meal was fabulous as was the appetizer and salad which we failed to picture. Just please try harder on the main courses. And yes we did omit pics of the inside of my fish since usually this place is amazing!! Also a slight tip, please tell your severs which wines are sweet vs dry on both white and red.

I was searching for a restaurant with a beautiful view and delicious cuisine. I came across The Gallery on Google Maps and decided to make a reservation. Unfortunately, the only available seating was at the sushi bar. However, this was the best seating in the restaurant. The chefs at the sushi bar provided exceptionally attentive service. They offered excellent food recommendations and even prepared an appetizer prior to the main course. I would like to express my gratitude to Dakota and Justin for their outstanding service, Thank you! I highly recommend this restaurant if you’re looking for some good prime rib, sushi, and a nice view. Definitely check out the sushi bar in The Gallery Restaurant.

Charlotte, our hostess was sweet and attentive. Later found out that is was her first day. Lawson, our server was awesome. Was on point on cocktail refills, never having to wait on one. And was very receptive to my dry humor. Perfect spot to watch the sunset out on the patio. Food was amazing including the sushi. Best sushi by far.

Has the atmosphere and pricing of an upper class restaurant. The portions was surprisingly generous. The food quality however, for the price was just okay. The Carolina trout was bland, the prime rib was also bland and not tender like it should have been for the absurd cost. For an average cost of $30 to $35 per entrée, I expected a lot better quality food. Had better at chain restaurants. The Galley over priced and is just ok quality. Very disappointing.

I really enjoyed our dinner here. There are so many choices from sushi or salads to steak or chicken and seafood. They also have a daily specials menu aside from the usual entrees. The service is great. Our server filled our water constantly and was always available even though the restaurant was extended busy and crowded on a Friday night. There is a full bar with a nice selection of wines also. The restaurant is lake front and has beautiful views of Lake Hartwell. There is both indoor and outdoor seating as well as seating at the bar. I highly recommend making reservations. You have to call the restaurant as online booking is not available. The prices are reasonable and the food was terrific. If they have the peanut butter cake, the day you go, make sure you get a piece even if you take it home with you. It is the best peanut butter cake I have ever had. It was light, moist and creamy not overly rich or decadent. Even our server said she didn’t even like peanut butter, but loved this cake! The sushi here is unexpectedly delicious and they offer southern specialties also like fried green tomatoes, grits and homemade squash casserole.

Reservations are recommended. We walked in and the host was very good and our wait time was only 10 minutes. The food was amazing and the waiter was full of great service. Tonight we celebrated our wedding anniversary. The service, food, and atmosphere was excellent. We had the Mahi Mahi special, it was amazing.
