This is a okay Vietnamese restaurant. The prices are a bit too much for the quality and quantity of the food. The food is really distinct though from other Asian restaurants.
Update : the restaurant has improved a lot. Like really a lot. The dishes are now really yummy and the curries are really rich and not watered down. The prices are a bit expensive but competitive enough. The service has improved.
Definitely worth regular visits. Try the lychee gimlet

Very good Vietnamese restaurant located near stadtzentrum Jena. The decor and ambience with the paper lanterns hanging from the ceiling is magnificent. They make some lovely cocktails such as the wild berry sour. My favourite dishes here are the five spice crispy duck platter and also the clear chicken soup when I am feeling under the weather.

Really long waiting time, and we have been here a few times, every time we wait for 45-60 mins or even more. What doesn’t make sense is, like today we make our reservation at the time of this restaurant opens, and after all the other customers who came later than us got their dishes and ate for a while, we still don’t get ours.

It was a day trip to Jena to visit a friend. The first thing we did after my arrival was lunch. I ordered a Red Roasted Duck Curry. It was not that red at the end but was spicy enough. I took the special lunch deal which is cheaper than their normal menu and also got an ice tea for free. The food was tasty for me atleast. Num num!

What a wonderful experience! The service was great, very friendly staff. There was live music playing and the atmosphere and lights were magical. I was shocked that there were 3 full pages of vegan food offered on the menu! I had the vegan Tom Kha. It was one of the best dishes I have ever had. Overall, I am very impressed. 5/5 stars!
