The hashbrowns were browned but the potatoes were not cooked at the way thru and were hard. The eggs and omelet were tasty. The bacon was overcooked and I didn’t eat the pancakes because the server brought them to our table with them pushed up against her shirt!

The worst experience I’ve ever had from an establishment. This is my first ever real Google review because holy cow what a cluster. Totally understand being short staffed but it takes two seconds to say we will be with you in a moment. We waited over 20 minutes to pick up food that said it was already finished at 11:20 am it is 12:08 and I’m finally leaving with my food. Watched at least 5 family’s of 4 walk out before anyone even said we will be with you in a moment

I normally don’t have issues with Denny’s, but my recent online order from the Cambridge, MD location was very disappointing. I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich and fries, and the food was cold and partially undercooked. When I called to report the issue, I was placed on hold, disconnected, and repeatedly hung up on. When a manager finally answered, she denied there was a problem and offered no solution, then hung up when I asked for her name. I’m honestly surprised this location is still operating with this level of food quality and customer service.

Denny’s in Cambridge Maryland. This location is a great location. Right off highway 50. This is just like any other Denny’s that is out there. Nothing too special about this location. It’s Denny’s! We visit on Wednesday June 21, 2023.
As we walk into Denny’s there was no host at the beginning. We waited about 8 minutes to get seated. You can tell they was understaffed and the host was also being a waitress during our visit. The staff was very nice though but they did have a little fight in the back but it wasn’t a big one. I think it was between the cooks.
After we got seated and we placed our order. It took about 20-25 minutes to get our food but like I said in the previous comment above. They were understaffed. The place was kinda clean because they was understaffed that some tables still had plates all over the tables.
Our food was good. I order the lumberjack
Slam breakfast. The price was about $17.00 because I upgraded our pancakes to the cinnamon rolls pancakes. The pancake was good and the eggs and meat was delicious. Only thing I wish they did was cooked the meat a little more but it was still good all together.
Our waiter was really nice and she was great. She was very busy. You can tell she was running all over the place but she asked us how we doing and how was everything and even gave us refills on our drinks. She was wonderful.
I didn’t get to use the bathrooms, so I didn’t know if the bathrooms were clean or not.
We do recommend this location. Definitely if you are heading to Ocean City or going back home from Ocean City since it’s right off Highway 50. Just be prepared to wait a little for service because of them being understaffed.

Normally I don’t leave reviews for places like Denny’s, but I just had an amazing experience. It was me and my friend and another group that had 15 people at 11pm and it was just the shift lead Alexis and the cook. I’ve legit never seen a person hustle more in their life to get things done especially considering how rude and demanding the other group was. She gave us as much attention as she could and was as nice as could be. I hope someone high up sees this because you have a real solid employee there.

After reading a previous comment that this place had amazing food… I decided to give it a try. I can not stress how amazing this Dennys is. The staff was exceptionally warm, welcoming, accommodating. The food was 150% on point. Every single item was sooo good. The restaurant was noticeably super clean and updated. By far hands down the best Dennys of my life. I highly recommend this. The woman chef made everything with love and patience and it shows.

Almost every weekend my husband and I order breakfast from Denny’s on Sunday. The food is just getting worse and worse. Today, he ordered a grand slam and I ordered the new brisket sandwich thing they have going on. The brisket was so over cooked that it was like chewing on rubber & I had to throw it away because there was no way it could be chewed. His food was somewhat okay besides nothing was seasoned and his pancakes, well you can tell from the pictures how his pancakes turned out. I don’t know how someone can look at those pancakes and think yeahhhh they are perfectly fine to be served to paying customers. Unbelievable. At one point the food was at least mediocre, now it’s literally inedible. ️

The message is now: “Unless you are actively serving, in uniform during your visit, then you are not worthy of recognition.”
But, if you’re of AARP age, come on in and get your discount, regardless if you served or not.
