We are regulars in Ocean City and this is our first time trying Grotto Pizza. First impression was very good. The food was good and the service was great. We got the Antipasta Salad, Bianca Pizza and Classic cheese pizza. The salad was a decent size! With lots of toppings. The pizza definitely good and different from other local shops. Prices are little high for the area, but it’s nice to have a pizza place with great eat in environment. Plenty of parking and seating inside. The inside was spotless and clean. We would definitely go again in the future.

This place was okay. We had the spinach and artichoke dip. It was average. The pizza bread for the dipping was good. The mozzarella sticks were okay. They were not hot all the way through. Salad looked like it was from a bag. Service was good.

Very good food with excellent service!! Always enjoy their pizza and this time we tried a few of the pasta dishes and they were also very good. Our server, Alina, was excellent. She is very attentive and always smiling. We’ll go back and definitely request Alina.

Decent Grotto. Restaurant was clean and bright, pizza at this location was 3.5/5. A bit doughy and thick for Grotto, but got the job done.

Overall a good experience. The food was good and was brought out in pieces once it was ready. Some people were done eating by the time other people got their food. Service was ok, a few mix ups but no major issues. I would go there again and it is definitely worth trying.

Absolutely amazing pizza. The crust is that perfect balance—crispy on the outside, soft and chewy inside. The sauce has just the right amount of tang, the cheese is rich and gooey, and the toppings are always fresh and generous. Every slice is loaded with flavor.

The consistency is what sets this place apart—whether you dine in, take out, or grab a late-night pie, it’s always spot on. Service is fast, friendly, and they clearly take pride in what they do.

If you’re a pizza lover, this is a must-try. Easily some of the best pizza around, and once you have it, you’ll be hooked.

Had a waitress that was VERY slow/clueless. Waited half hour for food. I don’t know if she was new or what but pizza was ok not really hot and honestly tasted like a $5 Red Baron pizza from the grocery store.

The ribeye cheesesteak was the same way Luke warm and not hot by any means. Wasted $70 to eat here deff. wouldn’t return and should have just gone to Piezano’s Pizza instead.

We dined at Grotto Pizza this weekend (Cruisin’ OCMD) for the first time and won’t return unfortunately for several reasons. The prices for value being the biggest issue.

The restaurant itself if bright, open and clean, as were the restrooms. Seems like it could work well for large groups.

The service and price of food were issues. Although our server, Timur, was very nice, he was fairly invisible during the entire meal. I chalked this up to him seeming to be a new server and not because he was deliberately ignoring us. He offered us two sodas to go, which was appreciated since we never received drink refills. Again, he was very polite and nice, just slightly elusive.

Our meal was $69 ($84 with tip) for two large pizzas, one small side salad and one soda. Even for a tourist beach town that is outrageous. The pizzas were okay but the pepperoni with ham and feta was certainly not worth $33 alone. The Bianco (white pizza) was alright, but again not worth $23. The pizza was similar to Little Ceasar’s, and the costs should have been maybe $18 and $23 for the two. The side salad was nothing special but it was okay, no issues here.

We look forward to continuing to try more pizza places in Ocean City. Grotto Pizza is off our list now, but we are glad to have tried it at least once.

If you’re looking for a clean, open dining experience with a lot of options Grotto Pizza is a great choice, but be prepared to pay a higher price for the value.

Good quality, clean, nice, and polite servers.
Several options for the main courses, appetizers, nonalcoholic and alcoholic beverages, and a nice Gelato bar!
Their pizzas are good, but not great, I excepted more. A bit watery, and it seemed our pizza was prepared in a rush.
But the sandwich and French fries were good.
Price? Not cheap for a fast food style, but neither expensive

Know what you are getting before you walk in. The pizza NOT normal pizza. They place thier sauce ON TOP of cheese. Not only does this prevent the cheese from cooking correctly it also assures that not every bite of pizza has sauce on it.

The worst part is THEY DO NOT WARN YOU AHEAD OF TIME! You just get an odd pizza that is worse than it should be because of the unnecessary oddness.
