The consistency is what sets this place apart—whether you dine in, take out, or grab a late-night pie, it’s always spot on. Service is fast, friendly, and they clearly take pride in what they do.
If you’re a pizza lover, this is a must-try. Easily some of the best pizza around, and once you have it, you’ll be hooked.
The ribeye cheesesteak was the same way Luke warm and not hot by any means. Wasted $70 to eat here deff. wouldn’t return and should have just gone to Piezano’s Pizza instead.
The restaurant itself if bright, open and clean, as were the restrooms. Seems like it could work well for large groups.
The service and price of food were issues. Although our server, Timur, was very nice, he was fairly invisible during the entire meal. I chalked this up to him seeming to be a new server and not because he was deliberately ignoring us. He offered us two sodas to go, which was appreciated since we never received drink refills. Again, he was very polite and nice, just slightly elusive.
Our meal was $69 ($84 with tip) for two large pizzas, one small side salad and one soda. Even for a tourist beach town that is outrageous. The pizzas were okay but the pepperoni with ham and feta was certainly not worth $33 alone. The Bianco (white pizza) was alright, but again not worth $23. The pizza was similar to Little Ceasar’s, and the costs should have been maybe $18 and $23 for the two. The side salad was nothing special but it was okay, no issues here.
We look forward to continuing to try more pizza places in Ocean City. Grotto Pizza is off our list now, but we are glad to have tried it at least once.
If you’re looking for a clean, open dining experience with a lot of options Grotto Pizza is a great choice, but be prepared to pay a higher price for the value.
Several options for the main courses, appetizers, nonalcoholic and alcoholic beverages, and a nice Gelato bar!
Their pizzas are good, but not great, I excepted more. A bit watery, and it seemed our pizza was prepared in a rush.
But the sandwich and French fries were good.
Price? Not cheap for a fast food style, but neither expensive
The worst part is THEY DO NOT WARN YOU AHEAD OF TIME! You just get an odd pizza that is worse than it should be because of the unnecessary oddness.
