This was my first time ever trying a seafood boil. I’d never had it, but always wanted to try it since it looked good.

I tried the famous low country combo. I got the special Pierre 88 sauce, medium spicy. I really enjoyed the crab, shrimp, egg, and corn; they were great. The sausage and potatoes were alright; I don’t really care for them. 1/2 lb for $32 is not a bad price.
Hush puppies were fire, in my opinion.

My experience and taste/opinions might be different from yours, so take this review with a grain of salt. See my past reviews if you want to see the type of foods I have enjoyed.

My first time here. Nice atmosphere and set up kid friendly. It wasn’t crowded and we didn’t have to wait. My food was good the server was very nice and understanding. I would come back again. The food was tasty. I had catfish and shrimp with sweet potato fries.

Beware!! This establishment is disgustingly filthy! The doors, windows, ceiling ornaments, bathrooms and dusty all around. I can only imagine how the kitchen is…. take a look at the few pics I snapped. And, the waiters wear regular clothes, no uniforms or aprons. Hardly no one is there, it’s like a ghost town now I know why.

It was our 1st time going and my 40th birthday. We went when they just opened. The food was amazing. The crab was delicious and the Cajun fries were great.
Downfalls:
Music was terrible. More for a club.
Server was non existent. We had to ask another Server for silverware. Food was delivered and on fire. We couldn’t use our fingers on the king crab shells and whole potatoes.
There was a kid running around. Maybe 3 yrs old. An employees son. Climbing on tables. The staff was watching him more than the customers it felt like.

I love this place. It is a classic east coast boil so be prepared to get your hands dirty and your belly full!! My husband and I usually split one boil pot (medium cajun garlic butter, would get spicy next time) and added an extra crab cluster and 1/2lb shrimp. That was the perfect amount of food for us.
The service here is consistently great and very attentive. Food is delicious.
A few very tiny negatives: the water tastes funky to me so I stick to beer, no problem! The restrooms are also kind of iffy. I don’t mean to say this place is dirty by any means because it is quite clean and nice in the dining area and bar. This is just what I’ve noticed.
Definitely go and enjoy!!!

We dined here for a pre-Father’s Day dinner, and from the moment we arrived, it was clear things were off. I made our reservation last week, when the health grade posted was an A. By the time we showed up, it had dropped to a B. That was the first red flag.

The lobby was packed and there was no hostess in sight for nearly 10 minutes. Meanwhile, something behind the counter was constantly beeping, and a phone or iPad was ringing nonstop. It felt disorganized and chaotic.

Once we were seated, it was one thing after another. The napkin holder on our table was dirty. We had to ask for condiments that should’ve already been there. Then my husband and daughter’s seafood boils arrived, with crab legs, but no cracking tools were provided. How does that even happen at a seafood restaurant?

My son ordered a calamari basket, and the calamari was so overcooked he may as well have been chewing on a tire.

The one redeeming part of the evening was our waitress, Gabriela. She was clearly stretched thin with way too many tables, but she stayed polite and did the best she could given the chaos around her.

Sadly, for what we paid, over $125 for five people (3 adults and 2 children) the quality of the food and the chaotic service simply didn’t match the price. Definitely not worth it.

We won’t be back. Do not eat here until they seriously get their act together, whenever that may be.

Grade A sign visible. Clean. Service prompt and friendly. Large portions to the point that take home was easily another meal or two. Catfish basket, shrimp basket, hush puppies, cheese sticks and corn on the cob. Perfectly crispy without being overly breaded. We will be back.

I used to come here a lot in the past. So I stopped by and ordered some shrimp today. Within 30 minutes of eating both my pregnant wife and I threw up and had diarrhea. I’ve called them at least 8 times today after and no one has answered the phone.

I will tell you, this location is way better than the Spring Mountain location. All the food tastes the same but they don’t skimp out on the portions here. The bags are so full that you have so many leftovers the next day.

This place is new so it’s way cleaner. The bathroom is super clean but the place also doesn’t smell. Spring Mountain location smells like eggs sometimes, you know that gross sulfur smell.

Anyways, I hope this place stays consistent with portions and the atmosphere because it’s our new go to spot. We’ll even drive the extra time to come here even tho Spring Mountain is closer.

First time eating here. I heard this place was similar to The Boiling Crab and Hot and Juicy, so we decided to try it out. We were impressed. Everything we ate was tasty and delicious. I had some catfish and shrimp, while everyone else had the combo bag with mild spice. Everything tasted lovely and we will definitely be eating here again.
