This was a gem of an experience. The service was very friendly and very fast. All the staff were great and cordial. The food was delicious and we enjoyed every bite. The seasoning was perfect and the plates looked pretty. The location is also great, allowing you to stroll in the city center and stop to enjoy great food! When in Bordeaux, this is definitely a must-visit.

Wonderful meal in a hidden alleyway. Ordered the ravioli appetizer (which was my favorite dish of everything we ordered), the duck, fish, and the seared apricot dessert. Everything was presented beautifully.
Ravioli came out steaming and super saucy. So flavorful. Duck had a really good black currant sauce. Fish was more delicate, and paired really nicely with a white wine they had on their menu (one of the most floral-forward whites I’ve had). Apricots were a light, delicate dessert and kept us from feeling too heavy.

This was recommended by a hotel Marty staff and it was spot on good. They booked the reservation for us and we were happy with our first casual dinner experience in Bordeaux. We were happy with all the dishes we ordered(see photos). The staffs were friendly and helpful. They greeted us when we arrived and thanked us when we left. Like most restaurants in Bordeaux, payment is at the counter, not at the table. This was our favorite dinner experience in Bordeaux, as far as food goes.

I wanted to try some French cuisine, so I visited this restaurant—it’s beautifully decorated inside, and the food was delicious!
The only downside was the service. I asked the waitress for cocktail recommendations, and she simply said, “they’re the same everywhere,” which felt a bit rude. I ended up going with wine instead. Maybe she was just having a bad day.
Overall, still a nice experience. Thank you!

€10 for the smallest planche of cheese I’ve ever seen- literally 2 thin slices, a goats cheese and a tiny slice of Camembert. The others in our group also didn’t enjoy their food that much. Clearly a tourist trap. To be avoided.

Nice spot. Decor ans setting are really pretty.
Food was good but not like exceptional.
We tried the menus which is okay size- price-taste ratio wise.
Dessert could be better.
Service was a bit slow but the waiter was friendly and compensated for the wait.
I recommend it.

We got there because the receptionist at our camping in Soulac-Sur-Mer (she comes from Bordeaux) recommended this place to us. Delicious food, everything was cooked perfect. Service was also excellent. We asked for a wine suggestion and the waitress helped with all our questions. 25 € for this menú ist absolutely ok for the great quality, taste, and service. Absolutely recommend. Try to go before 19:30 if you have no reservation 😉

Visited this place the first time we were in Bordeaux. On our second time back, we had to go! The food is so good! The service is great. The duck is our favorite.

Fron the less restaurants with menus that you enjoy every dish (we tried one more in city and was awful). All recipes were interesting especially the cod fish and the mushrooms in open ravioli (fabulous sauce). I wish the service was like this in the rest restaurants as well (fast in everything, drinks & food).
