Food was tasteless and mediocre, with no flavor whatsoever. Shrimp was hard in the appetizers and soup. The lack of spices was noticeable in all dishes, not real authentic Thai food per my taste. If you have tried real Thai food, you’ll be really disappointed. The noodles were hard and all stuck together. Somehow, the meat was tender and eatable. The tea was diluted, and room temperature. I wouldn’t be going back. The service was really good even tho no one spoke English or Spanish, they make it work. I was surprised they had an English menu. The restaurant was pretty and quiet. But way to pricy is not worth it. I want good food, not a pretty restaurant.

There is a waitress called Michelle. She is the best. Very jovial and excellent English. Ask for her if you do not speak Portuguese
As always Koh pee pee has best Thai food in whole of South America.

Outstanding food. I had the fried shrimp rice, Pad Thai with pork, pork spring rolls and chocolate mousse. Everything was delicious. The place was full on Monday night and the service was still great as fast. One of the best restaurants I’ve tried in Brazil.

The food was amazing but a bit pricey. If you are traveling from the U.S like I was, there is no lunch specials, so it’s equivalent as ordering everything off the full price menu. I didn’t mind paying the extra $$ for the meal because the food did taste super fresh. That was something that I noted. Overall, very chic place and super fast service. 10 min max for each plate to come out. Will be revisiting when I’m in POA.

I was searching for thai food as good as America, and I am proud to celebrate “Go to Koh Pee Pee!!” As loud as I can.
(Archer voice: “Hey, Phrasing!!!”)
It tastes like I’m at home in America with a phenomenal tangy pad thai sauce, just not spicy enough (local palate). Red curry was also excellent and grilled chicken had the best peanut sauce I ever had.
Fried banana and ice cream, and coconut creme Brule, both exceptional too. Everything was an 8/10 or higher.
As i was taking someone who didn’t like Asian food before this: it completely converted them. I will definitely be back.

I was in Porto Alegre for the World Cup with two friends. Food was absolutely exquisite…I had pad thai. The portions are very big, and one could split an order between two people. The decor was beautiful — you truly felt as if you are in Thailand. The restaurant itself looks like a two story bamboo tree house with ornate decorations.
Service was very good, and the waiter even spoke English. There’s a comfortable waiting area upstairs, in which you can order drinks.
A must if you are in Porto Alegre…it was the best Thai food I’ve ever had.

I have lived in Hong Kong for 10 years and had many trips to Thailand. I love Thai food and this place must be one of the best place I had Thai food outside of Thailand. Great food, atmosphere and service. Seeing only Asian people in the kitchen says it all. Highly recommend!

The restaurant is simply perfect.
The food is incredible and don’t be afraid, if you don’t like anything too spicy there are plenty of options you can choose.
The decoration and the service are also incredible points.

Still the nesta restaurant I town IMHO. Delicious Thai food, spicy and tasteful. The previous limited menu has expand to numerous plate choices, keeping traditional choices intact. The wine “carte” is also pretty good. Ok, at 25-30US$ a plate for one person, it is not the least expensive location, but it is definitely worth!!
