I have fallen in love with the Lily “the tiffin lady” on TikTok and realized I had never tried Indian cuisine. Today I took the plunge and oh my is it amazing! I ordered Togo but can not wait to go back to dine in! The gentleman who helped me was very nice. I ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala, level 3 spice, and Chapati and I was not disappointed one bit! The heat level was perfect! If you’ve never had Indian food or are looking for a new Indian spot give them a try!!!

Simply not good, I have specifically told to give spice level 5, they forgot or i dont know… its was level -1, my tongue has literally searched for taste.

Americans or any other native person would love it…

Better to avoid and go any other restaurant which can originally provide you original Indian food…
If you are Indian, please avoid this
If one Indian person also avoids my review purpose is fulfilled
The reviews which i have seen for this resto are too old, now i guess the restaurant has changed…
The only thing I would completely appreciate is the service, they are really good…
And the quantity is so much that expected…

I got food here 2 weeks ago and forgot to write my review. This place is delicious. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by a very nice lady, I got the chicken biryani and chicken tiki misala, garlic naan and chefs naan. First off their portions are great. I was able to eat 2 times and have a bit left over for one last snack. My girlfriend and I enjoyed everything we ordered. Ive had indian food all over town and this place is probably the tastiest. Service was wonderful and I will definetly be back for more! Give em a shot!

Carry out review only:

Easily placed our order online and picked it up at lunch time on a saturday. The ambiance is just like most other indian restaurants in a strip mall. Seemed clean. Service was friendly and accommodating. They even gave us a free dessert for having a large order (rice pudding).

Chicken tikka was plenty of chicken breasts in a sauce comparable to buffalo. Pretty good.
chicken biryani was flavorful and also had plenty of chicken chunks.
Chicken shahi korma was delicious. I really enjoy the sauce (a bit sweet but also buttery curry).
Chicken naan was great and you get so much with just one order. Definitely good value for the cost.
Mulligatawny Soup was warm and delicious. I would definitely get it again.

Neither of us like rice pudding but i did sample it and the flavor reminded me of chai.

Four of us celebrated my birthday here, and we loved it. The food was absolutely delicious. The people who served us were very pleasant and friendly, and the service was excellent. It’s an attractive dining room with a lovely atmosphere. Everything was great, and all four of us highly recommend Shaan restaurant. We will definitely be back!

We were visiting Cincinnati when we decided to eat at Shaan Indian Cuisine and were grateful we did! The vegetable pakora was the best we’d ever eaten and the service was good. We agreed it was worth visiting again for the pakora alone! Would definitely recommend this restaurant.

My first time trying Indian food and doing it at Shaan was great!! I loved that they had a sampler option (Thaali) for vegetable and non vegetable. It came with so much garlic naan that was absolutely delicious. The mango lassi is a MUST! Service was attentive and kind. I will be back to try around the menu! Definitely give it a try!

We order carry out from here a lot and it’s our favorite Indian cuisine on the east side of Cincy! In our most recent 2 orders we were given complimentary kheer rice pudding and it was delicious! Their Paneer Pakora is my favorite!

I honestly don’t understand how this place even calls itself a restaurant. This was hands down one of the most disgusting meals I’ve ever tasted in my entire life. I’m literally begging people — please don’t waste your money here. I ordered several items thinking at least one of them might be decent, but nope… every single dish was worse than the last.

And the biryani? What a joke. I’ve never seen something so awful. Who on earth puts peas and tomatoes and all kinds of random veggies into chicken and lamb biryani like it’s a veg biryani? If that wasn’t bad enough, the so-called lamb tasted like it wasn’t even lamb — I honestly don’t know what meat that was, and I don’t want to know.

I’m still angry thinking about it. This was the biggest food disappointment ever. Save your money, your taste buds, and your sanity — avoid this place at all costs.
