I really hate to leave this review. Pappy’s has been a Redmond staple since I was a little kid. I remember vividly visiting with my parents and friends and it was always a treat. The pizza, the chicken, and the salad bar were great, my favorite was. The BBQ chicken pizza.
Over the last 4-5 years the prices which were always kind of high, have gone through the roof. On top of the increasing prices the food quality has been consistently dropping, food that was always a reliable standby is coming up burned, and lacking toppings, and the upcharges for every little thing are getting out of hand.
Tonight may have been the last straw. After several bad visits in a row we have them another shot tonight. They said my order would be ready for pickup at 6:40….and I walked in to pick it up at 6:38. When I walked in to pick up my chicken, the teenagers there could not figure out my order, even though I could see it sitting on top of their ovens. Once they finally “found” my food I asked for the ranch I had to pay extra for when I ordered on line. It took them another 5 minutes to walk back to the refrigerator and bring it back. When we got the food home and opened it up the chicken was nuclear over cooked. It was dry and stringy the the skin was nearly hard enough to break a tooth. There is zero way someone who was paying attention could have missed that the chicken was beyond burnt. I would have much preferred they say hey it’s going to take a bit to get you new chicken because we made a mistake. Instead they boxed up the hot garbage chicken and sent it home with me hoping no one would notice. Beyond disappointed. For nostalgia’s sake I really hope they turn it around but it will be a long time before we give them another shot.

If the prices were a little bit lower this would be a 5-star pizza place.
The pizza was great, and I like that they have a salad bar, even if it is single-serving and $9/plate. It was still delicious.
Surprisingly large and roomy. Tons of space for parties. They have a few arcade games for the kids. Would recommend.

Great as always !! Can’t beat the service. Fair price and exceptional quality. Full self serve salad bar ( rare these days ) with the best pizza in Central Oregon. Not to mention the fried chicken and Jojos!!

The workers were very helpful and attentive. Food was hot and fresh.
We had a large order and all items came out perfect. They even double checked that we got our ranch and seasoning packets.
The restaurant was clean.
I just wish the owner/franchise would update the restaurants just a little bit. The current/past color way is dinghy and a bit dark. Just a little change to brighten the places would be great.

Very friendly counter crew, tons of seating and a playland for the kids. I had the salad bar and a personal pizza for dinner and it was the perfect meal. The pizza had fresh and plenty of toppings and the salad bar was well stocked.

Pricing was a bit of a shock. Ordered small combination and a salad bar plate. 47.00 and the pizza had no flavor. The black olives tasted odd. Fresh mushrooms were good but have to say i wont return. Not many pizza choices in Redmond. Disappointing.

Very disappointed in the food and service. Tonight we ordered the French dip, salad and the wing special with spuds . We ordered to go. Waited nearly an hour, given the French dip sandwich which was suppose to include spuds, it had no spuds and sandwich was not even wrapped in foil as suppose to be ( we ordered this all the time) sandwich was cold. Got refunded. Get home with rest of our order that took another 10 minutes after receiving cold sandwich and wings were burnt and the spuds were hard and very over cooked. Wasted money and Hopi g we get our refund. Everyone working there seemed unpleasant and annoyed to be there. We went 5 minutes before 8 pm and got home just before 9 with our to go order. I called and said I had an issue and he said the chicken is just dark due to oil only being changed once a week. But when you bite the chicken it is literally crumbling.

The manager on duty tonight (11/28/2025) was so professional and nice when I ordered my pizza. I have celiac disease and he assured me that he would only have one person handling my pizza and that he would take extra care to avoid any cross contamination. I cant remember the last time I had pizza, and honestly going out to eat usually requires me to miss out on dinner or eat ahead of time. Im grateful I was able to enjoy my meal with my family. Thank you Pappy’s and thank you to the manager on shift tonight. ❤️

We had a party at this location and spent about $450 on pizza and drinks. We bought 8 large pizzas and several bottomless drinks. 5 of 8 of the pizzas were fine. The other 3 were scorched. Burnt crumbs lined the bottom of the pizza. The salad bar was ok. The place could be cleaned a bit better. Trash was all over the place and a lot of bodies standing around behind the counter. The person who was doing the pizza oven was tossing the pizza onto the pizza pan and wasn’t even paying attention to the time. Pappy’s used to be a great pizzeria but now we may never come back and I urge new and existing patrons to find elsewhere to eat.

Pizza was fantastic, we were very pleasantly surprised! Staff was great, so was the ranch lol. The kids had fun! Wish the arcade was bigger, we would’ve been there for hours! Would really be worth the investment!
