The PANDEMIC IS OVER! TAKE IT TO GO AT ALL CIRCUMSTANCES AVOID THE ANNOYING UNFREINDLY DINING ROOM AT ALL COSTS. When you walk into this place they are quick to take your money for some good teriyaki chicken and or burger they LOVE TO REMIND US the difficult times of the pandemic. Case in point all the dine in customers sit at the FAR END OF THE DINING ROOM TO GET AWAY FROM THAT ANOYING PUBLIC INTERCOM WHEN EVER POSSIBLE. OWNERS GET A CLUE! THE PANDEMIC HAS BEEN OVER FOR YEARS GIVE UP THE UNWELCOME FEELINGS OF THOSE TIMES. Soon as you walk into to THE ANNOYING PLEXIGLASS at the WHOLE FRONT counter, TO ADD INSULT TO INJURY THAT ANNOYING LOUD INTERCOM AT THE FRONT COUNTER NEEDS TO GO MAKES MY EARS RING! Do not recommend! They put some bad rice like for pig. You can eat this rice only if you hungry as a wild and doesn’t matter the bad rice quality. Just heated and gave it to me. Not eatable.

Received a recommendation from a local for Golden Bowl on Rowland. Bun and Burger across the street is a regular spot for me so I’ve seen this place a few times. Lots of choices including teriyaki burger. I opted for the large combo teriyaki beef and chicken. Yummy sauce not too sweet and huge portions. Definitely for two. Will be back to try the teriyaki burgers.
Update: came back for the small chicken for a quick lunch. Very flavorful small chicken bowl that was the right size for a quick bite. Refillable fountain is a must and a deal breaker for me shrug ♀️ if not included
Today was the beef teriyaki with avo. A bit on the saltier side so I didn’t need to add the extra provided sauce. Great beef taste and avo is a must.

This was my first time actually eating there inside the restaurant. We walked in, walking towards the counter. We didn’t notice the trash cans. They were so full of trash, the trash was over flowing. It hasn’t been touched in hours. Thats a bad sign. Makes me wonder how clean is the kitchen? We ordered a beef bowl. The beef was over cooked. It looked very dry, over charred. The French fries needed more time in the fryer. Very soft, not crispy at all. The fish was ok. Definitely Van De Camp’s style. The chicken bowl was ok. Definitely needs vegetables. Either that, or you have to drown your bowl in teriyaki sauce. We definitely will not be returning anymore. The dining area definitely needs a good cleaning. And supplies shouldnt be stacked in the dining area where customers can see them.

Mmmm so delicious this teriyaki i remember I was here 6 years ago and always I want to come back I like this food and the fish here obviously is not the same price but worth the price believe me I think Sunday is close but try any other day you gonna love this teriyaki food

I’ve been a fan of Golden Bowl since the early 2000s. After 14 years away from California, coming back here was a must. The food still tastes the same—I had the pork teriyaki and their famous chicken burger and the sauce “ranch”, which is a must. They don’t have the yellow chili pepper station anymore, but you can still ask for them.

Food is great although I did limit myself to a few items for the last 16 yrs. Love their Burger Specials, slight char on the edges. No fancy ingredients just ur great tasting burgers. Also try the Teriyaki Burger with Avocado! Next is their specialty…. Chicken Teriyaki Bowls! Make sure u add the Avo! Tender chicken over white or wheat rice, with Teriyaki glaze over all. But my ALL TIME favorite their is their Fries. I don’t know how they do it, but I can just eat their fries with a gallon of their ranch dressing just as a meal! Thick cut fries but not like steak fries. Crisp outer with a soft inside, not sure if seasoned but they have their own flavor. Those are my all time best fries of all fries from anywhere! Service average and atmosphere average but again ur their to eat, not to impress a date. Great place to go after a ball game, lazy afternoon, after a long day at work or first thing to start ur day with breakfast. We smell their chicken n beef cooking 3 times a day from the Acura Dealer next door, what a wonderful torture! Great job guys!!!! Be in tomorrow for some fries!

First time eating here, went through Dive-thru, I told the guy my window doesn’t go down (he said, don’t worry I’ll come out and take to you), he did and I tipped him for doing that! OMG the Teriyaki Beef Bowl was “EXCELLENT”! Differently coming back!

Burnt Patty
I feel no restaurant should burn your patty when you’re paying for it .
Order 3 burgers and unfortunately when I got home notice the patties were burnt a good amount that they were not appetizing. And the buns were cold . Not toasted . I was so sad . Their drive thru was also not too busy so not sure why they allow my patties to get burn . They only had 2 customers in front of me .
The past 2 times I order here the burger was delicious. Warm and juicy patty not cold and burnt.
Went here because their service is quick and by my work . But might not return because I don’t believe any place should give their customer burnt food .
