This was our first and last visit. We are local and decided to try out Paul’s. Service was friendly and our apps came out quickly. The apps were good so we were hopeful the the Sicilian pie we order would be just as good.
Neither my spouse or I could finish a single piece of pizza. I don’t know if the pizza is supposed to taste the way it does or maybe the oil was bad or possibly there was a spoiled ingredient. The best way to describe the taste would be to compare to someone who used way to much lighter fluid on a barbecue grill and the food absorbs some of the fluid burn-off.
After initial attentive service, we couldn’t get the attention of our server for what felt like a long time. We were tired and instead of complaining, simply paid for our food, took the pizza to-go and then threw it in the dumpster.

We ordered takeout from this Italian restaurant several times and had the dinners delivered to the James Newbury Hotel nearby. The portions were large, tasty and well prepared. Delivery was quick. We enjoyed the chicken and veal dinner choices and the salads. The staff was friendly and helpful on the occasion we stopped in to place our order for a later delivery time. They were accommodating to us with food allergies and made sure we stayed safe. Thank you Danielle for your help and upbeat attitude.

Everything was fine, just ordered some pizzas. Sat at a booth to just eat and run. Didn’t need a waitress, when they brought out the box and food container they just dropped it on the table kinda rudely and just walked away. No “have a great day” No “thank you” Nothing. Just silence like the girl was annoyed she had to walk around the counter to bring the box to the table we sat down at.

This isn’t the first time we hadbad service at Paul’s. This is the final time and now we’re done!
In the summer my husband and I ordered subs so we could take them to music in the park. Specifically said NO ONIONS …. hungry and ready for music we opened the subs….LOADED with onion..I called Paul’s to talk to a manager who said we could bring them back for the correct order… WHAT!! we are 20 minutes 1 way so, no! Then said she would give us store credit instead..ok…until we ordered AGAIN. I asked for the credit on our account which was NEVER credited! I had to explain what happened and asked for the manager yet again who claimed she knew nothing if the mishap and only wanted to give us 10.00.. sad I had to fight for what she promised..
Which brings us to never ordering there again.
After a long few days my daughter needed emergency back surgery. I haven’t eaten all day long and was starving. Transporting her car and getting her home after surgery we decided on Paul’s for a pizza wings and cheese bread. I get there to pick up our order to find the cashier GAVE IT TO SOMEONE ELSE! Apologies and a hurry scurry to make up for the mistake…someone from the back was questioning another worker for messing up another order …
she hands me the pizza and said have a good night! Ummmm, forgetting the wings and cheese bread which I had to remind we purchased NOT ONCE did anyone offer a comp or a credit! And to top it all off.. the pizza was COLD! Don’t waste your money! We won’t again!

Great service and good pizza. The dough had good flavor and was cooked well. Appreciated that we were able to switch the chicken on the pizza from fried to grilled. The salad was large and made well. Our server was friendly and attentive. The restaurant was very well staffed. The restaurant seemed clean but slightly outdated. Would be interested to try the meals.

Ordered a Sausage, peppers and onions pie. There were 3 pieces of meat on each slice. A few pieces of peppers and then covered with red onions. It cost me $44 with boneless wings. (Which were overcooked and dry. Overpriced crappy food. Wish I could give less than 1 star. Will never return

I enjoy eating here usually and have never had a problem, however I ordered here tonight and have never been more disappointed.. I ordered mozzarella sticks with extra sauce and I didn’t get any sauce at all with them. The pizza I ordered wasn’t even filled out to the edge and there was mainly just BBQ on it making it taste like BBQ and crust. Plus the way it was cut made it very hard to share and eat. Not to mention I paid 31 dollars for this meal.

Needs new cooks and some renovations. I don’t leave this review as a negative but more as constructive criticism. I’ve ordered from here a few times and have been disappointed for the price they charge. Tonight I ordered penne alavodka with grilled chicken. Got a watered down sauce and a small piece of grilled chicken with a pound of riggatoni pasta. Not sure who is in charge of the menus but they should be trying there own food. This place has potential but needs better management.
