Came here with my wife while in the area. The interior is very small, but that’s ok, because there were a couple open tables, so we decided to dine in. I got the Quesabirria Tacos. Oh my goodness they’re fantastic, among the best I’ve had! The beef itself is amazing, but of course its even better with that birria dip! It was so good that what was left over after the tacos was drank And the cheese pull in it ain’t too shabby either The only mishap was my wife’s taco was the wrong style, but otherwise they did nothing wrong.

The food at Arturo’s Taco is solid if you’re craving authentic Mexican flavors. The chicken was a bit too salty for my taste, but overall the rest of the dishes felt genuine and flavorful. That said, the condition of the restaurant itself leaves a lot to be desired. It’s pretty run-down and not the kind of place you’d want to dine in. I’d definitely recommend getting your food to-go rather than eating there. Worth a stop if you’re nearby and hungry, just don’t expect much from the ambiance.

The food has great taste. Good food w a lot of flavor. I gave it 2 stars because of the meat, the steak was not good quality. It had so much gristle they were hard to chew, i couldn’t eat it and it was more than 5 pieces like that which was quite a bit since there wasn’t a great amount of meat in the dish to start with. If the steak was nice and soft, i would have given it 5 stars because the dish did have good flavor.

Tried Arturo’s for the first time today and loved it. Some of the best food I’ve had in a long time. Their Carne Asada Tacos were perfect, as were the rice and beans. My wife is semi-vegetarian and loved the vegetarian tacos. The service was great, the staff was friendly, and our food was out in no time. Limited dine-in seating, so be prepared to get it to go. This will for sure be one of our regular spots until the tourists take over this summer. We’ll be back!

TLDR: one of my favorite taco places! I haven’t visited in years, and the elotes en vaso are just as good as I remember them from the past!
We had lunch here during coast guard festival in August- yes, I know I’m late. Trying to do better about catching up on reviews! . We got an horchata and an agua de jamaica, which, I believe was my bf’s first one ever? Possibly? Both were great. We got some chips and salsa, I got a veggie taco and a shrimp taco, he got a steak taco and a sope, and we got sides of rice and beans and elotes en vaso- my faves!!
It’s a little hole-in-the-wall place without much seating. My only knock is that there’s not much room to sit and there’s always a huge line- but that’s more my problem than theirs- it just means Arturo does too good of a job! EVERYBODY wants tacos!

Super amazing people and the food is amazing. I had their food while they were at a local brewery years ago and I saw they had a shop now. The food is amazing and worth the stop. Probably the best taco salad I’ve ever had. And it’s my favorite thing to get.

I absolutely love Arturo’s. Every time my wife suggests it for dinner, I get excited! Love their al pastor super burrito and carne asada fries. The only reason I didn’t put 5 stars is because the last couple of times I have ordered food there, my order was missing something. Today, there was no cheese on my burrito that was supposed to have cheese. The last time no carne asada on my carne asada fries (I noticed when I got home and they remade the order). Obviously not a big deal, just double check your orders when you pick them up lol.

Great authentic #Mexican food for #TacoTuesday! Definitely the best in #GrandHaven Michigan, transplanted from #Chicago, IL. Nice family owned location missing one star from the rating due to the size of the building. I feel the building size is limiting customer growth, and limiting the #Mexican dining atmosphere the family could inspire.
