Momo’s began in September 1999 as a hole-in-the-wall pizza joint just off the campus of FSU on Tennessee Street with a half dozen or so employees and an original, made-from-scratch recipe for New York style, hand-tossed pizza. In 2002, Momo’s expanded to their second location to The Market District on Market Street, just off Thomasville Road. Momo’s on Market Street features two dining areas, as well as the best patio in town, to enjoy a slice and a pint in the perfect Florida weather. Momo’s continues to fill the bellies of college students and locals with “slices as big as your head” and the best prices in town.

Wife and I ordered a fresh medium pizza and got the kids HUGE single slices. The slices are good, but the fresh pizza is pretty amazing.

A very nice lunch with coworkers here. The hugest slice of pizza I’ve ever had at a very good price. Ingredients taste fresh and good and I love how thin the crust is which makes it easy to finish the whole slice.

Was told we couldn’t eat our pizza on their patio after we ordered to-go. The cashier girl confusingly said “you ordered to go right? Then, you can’t eat it here.” What establishment would turn away their own customer? Wont come back! Plenty of places have patios we can use & buy food from.

Great pizza. Outdoor seating was great. I appreciated how topping heavy they went on our pizzas. My only ‘complaint’ is we didnt realize a slice was coming off their 30″ pizzas. Plus side, my kids had lunch for 2 more days afterwards.

This is the BEST place to go for specialty pizza! There are endless options with things you would never think of but they’re all AMAZING. I’m vegan and able to enjoy pizza again!! We’ve sat in Maleah’s section several times and she’s an incredible, knowledgeable server who will take good care of you.

We needed a quick bite before heading out for the evening and tried Momo’s Pizza. What a neat place! The vibe is modern kitchen with a hint of big city inside. There’s a lot going on, so it’s loud and you can sit at tables or a counter. Our order took a while due to the demand but we were pleased with our server and since we sat at the counter, our food was made right in front of us – nothing frozen or prepared in advance here! The slices are large and seemed to equal 2 regular slices, so a hungry person might order 2 slices here but be aware that equals about half of a large pie! My slice cost $8 and included one topping. Overall it’s a fun, vibrant pizza shop that I would definitely visit again!
