Oh my goodness, this place was outstanding. We started with the bruschetta, and it was wonderful. The tomatoes were so fresh and delicious. We got the “special” pizza they have right now. It was so good. We had the Reese’s Cup cheesecake, which is made in-house. Both the pizza and cheesecake are limited-time offers, so do yourself a favor and get some—you won’t be disappointed. I want to give a shout-out to our server Matt. He was fantastic. This isn’t just a pizza place; it’s an experience.

Stumbled across this restaurant traveling from Charleston back home to North Carolina on our Anniversary. It was a Monday around 1pm so not too busy. Staff was kind and our server asked if we had anything special going on and I told her it was our 20th anniversary. She congratulated us and a few minutes later another staff member walked over with a card/coupon. Such a kind gesture! The food was amazing!!!! My husband isn’t a big fan of pizza but really enjoyed it and said it was the best pizza he had ever had. I agree! He also ordered a small ceasar salad and it was big enough for us to share. Ordered the oreo cheesecake to go for dessert after our server claimed it was the best she had ever eaten and I 100% agree with her! It was soooooo good. (Wish I took a picture of cheesecake) Must get cheesecake if you go. Its housemade and you will not be disappointed! We will definitely return anytime we are in the area

Everything was delicious. The pizza was cooked perfectly and the buffalo mozzarella was so fresh. The “small” sized salad was plenty for two people and not too much dressing, just right. Pictured is the margherita with meatballs. We sat at the outside bar and service was spot on too! Very good value and experience. We’ll be back!

Loved the vibes of the place. It’s just ironic that I am from nyc and I would want pizza at night the first night in Charleston. This was close to our hotel, and open till 9pm. The servers were nice. Amazing strawberry lemonade mocktail. Great Margherita pizza, you could tell it was fresh ingredients. The calzone was huge and passed the cheese pull test but could use some more salt. Pricy but you leave full, so I am giving it a 5. We had kids with us so it wasn’t the quiet romantic type of dinner but this is the place for that.

I first went to Grimaldi’s(Coal-Brick Oven Pizza) in Arizona and it was amazing. This location is nothing less. The pizza is excellent, the toppings are fresh and the flavor in the sauce is unbeatable. I am in town for work and have eaten at this location 2 now, each time it’s been great start to finish. We sat in the bar area both times and the young lady bartender waited on us. She was attentive, knowledgeable and very thorough. I highly recommend stopping in for some of the best pizza! Sit on the bar area with the lady bartender, she takes it over the top.

Not sure what went wrong but the $40 Tuscan veggie 16″ pizza with turkey sausage and mushrooms just did not work. The sausage was uncooked and had that pinkish uncooked look and unfortunately also the taste. The charred remnants of the previous pizza turned into charcoal and there were whole bunch of them. I did not notice any of these until I gave it a bite. Alas, when I asked the waitress about uncooked sausage, she told me it was cooked. I did not want to argue.
In a strange way, the kitchen is separated from the main room by a plastic see through glass. The cookinfg crew gave me a laugh one I sat down. Very humiliating, not to mention the waitress really being so curious about my whereabouts. Not recommended.

I contacted Stacy, the manager, as I had a large group of 25 or so looking to enjoy pizza night. She was so accommodating. She reserved a room for us and when I arrived it was fully set up and ready to go. Alyssa and Jason were are servers. They were wonderful. So patient and attentive keeping an eye on everyone’s needs. Everything went smoothly, even the separate checks we requested. The group was able to eat, drink and socialize thanks to this team. Thank you Stacy, Alyssa and Jason for the hospitality to our group. You all were amazing and it was much appreciated.

My husband and I had the most wonderful evening celebrating my birthday. Our wonderful server Alissa made our evening so fun! The pizza and salad were so yummy as always and the Oreo cheesecake Alissa recommended was delicious! Ryan who also was a very friendly server who didn’t wait on us but took the time to give us a friendly warm welcome too! Thank you Grimaldi’s and your great staff for always making it a fun evening! Enjoyed the $10.99 lunch special of a generous slice, salad and beverage. I always go with the artichoke topping for a small extra charge. Great service from Katie and the rest of the staff. Taking home a large antipasto. We will be enjoying a charcuterie board tonight.

Delicious brick oven pizza ! Best Pizza i have had since being down South. Being from Philly you can imagine my standards when it comes to pizza. Salads were delish as well. Service exceptional. Server was knowledgeable of menu and we got a salad for free for downloading the app. The desert was also great. I had a ricotta canolloli and my boyfriend had tiramisu!
