Social Profile:

My friend, L, visited Malaga in May and was absolutely amazed by Alaska Tavern. She vowed to visit Malaga every month just to dine at this restaurant.

We stayed near this place and were so happy to have it next to us!!! One of the best seafood places in Malaga!! Defo worth to go and try fresh seafood!!!
Padron peppers were a bit overfried, didn’t enjoy much, but the rest was so good.
Please note there are no English menu, so I just showed pictured from the google reviews

Also there are the queue as place is very busy!!

Definitely the real stenght of this restaurant is the amazing price-quality ratio. We ate A LOT and only spent 16 euros each for a great food quality. You can see the picture and judge, it is not even all the food we got. I recommend sharing dishes, so you can try many things.

The service isn’t amazing, they dropped some food on us without apologising too much (this happened at another table too). Anyway, overall I’d say it is worth to try as the food is very good!

Amazing experience! Very local and authentic place – busy, noisy with GREAT food and very friendly price 🙂
We’ve adobo, shrimps, pimientos padron, berenjenas, mejillones al vapor everything 10/10 super fresh and super tasty! You can see a lot of locals visiting this place and it can get very busy 🙂 service is great – fast and friendly. Don’t expect nothing fancy – but very local and authentic

The most important thing there is a food. So food was very tasty (no rubbery food). Portions are also not bad. Staff is awesome nimble and funny but they barely know english so if you are not prepared beforehand it will be not easy

Probably this is not for everyone – if you are looking for English-speaking service or white tablecloths, this is not for you. You have been warned. Just don’t come here.
However, if you are looking for an authentic experience, this is a must in Malaga.
Only locals come eat here. Saying that we felt like home is an understatement – at the end of the dinner, the waitress was hugging and kissing my daughter! They offer no dessert. Our daughter wanted one, so they scavenged some candies from who knows where for her.
The food is amazingly fresh and prices are ridiculous for someone coming from Germany or the UK.
We ate until our bellies were almost exploding and we had to leave them a huge tip – which they did not ask for in any way but were of course very grateful for.
If we lived in Malaga we would come here like twice a week, probably
PS they added an English menu available via QR code or their website – adding this because some comments were mentioning this is not available. It comes to show they are striving to improve which is to be appreciated.

Nice place, good food. We’d read good reviews and were nearby.
The ensalada rusa was filled with seafood, and the gambas perfecto. The ostras were fresh and tasty.
