Arrived at 3pm for late lunch. Plenty of parking. Service was quick and friendly. My go to dish, but shrinkflation hit the chili. Chicken came out hot and moist. It is my comfort meal.

On 1/6/2026 8PM the standard was not up to par & unfortunately made me sick. Burnt “chicken” & less than a scoop of chili. That’s a korean fried chicken & chili plate. And the Loco moco patty was burnt.
Bottom side down was partially black.
Not shown was the tempura & unagi special. It took forever and it was fried batter layered with more batter…. This one experience out of 30+ years is shared so hopefully the cook can be retrained or they can hire someone else who can cook to the standard of Zippys.

Hardly go to Zippys and other establishments these days due to the skyrocketing prices but stopped in late night for the September Korean Chicken/ Chili $9.99 special.
Ordered two plates to go, service was fast and courteous since it was off peak. Of course what you get is never like what is pictured and advertised but for the price it is what it is. Chicken was like nugget sized and not like the bigger sizes but its a $9.99 deal. Hopefully they do more specials to make people come back 4 stars

The worst experience I’ve had here. I placed a mobile order before arriving and even prepaid. When I got there, I was told to wait because one entrée was still being prepared, which was fine—at first. After waiting 30 minutes for a mini hamburger steak, I went up to the counter to ask about my order. I was casually told it had already been ready. No one made any effort to notify me. Meanwhile, customers who arrived well after me ordered and received their food first. My food had clearly been sitting out and was cold by the time I got it. This was frustrating and unacceptable. Terrible service. I will not be returning to this location.

First time trying Zippy’s and I welcome everything about them. Selection wise, there is plenty to choose and thou shall find something to your liking! The personnel is friendly and welcoming and our meal was served promptly.

I only speak the truth, Zippy’s was one of my favorite spots. This time I ordered the chicken katsu mixed with the Korean sauce, it’s called katsorean I always ask mines on the side.
The quality isn’t there any more. Chicken is just overcooked all the time.

Good food, woman taking orders was pleasant/friendly. Man fulfilling those orders was distracted and let food get cold. Katsu chicken a bit overdone but tasty. Seating area could have been better maintained. I would return but only if I was hungry and close.
