It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Had ordered 2 sweet and spicy bacon burgers. One with no onions and no mustard, I ended up just getting a cheese bacon burger because I got no sauce at all, I never mentioned no sweet and spicy sauce or anything, the fries were really soft and soggy as if they weren’t fried enough or refried.

There was literally mold on the chicken tenders, my kid took one bite and spit it out, stated it taste weird,after opening the sandwich there was mold all over chicken tenders. I called in and the lady stated that “oh come back we can you another one”. I m pretty sure that I will never eat at a whataburger again.

I’m honestly really disappointed with this Whataburger lately. My family and I used to come here all the time because it used to be good, but now the quality has seriously gone downhill. The food tastes old and stale, like it’s been sitting around way too long. There have been multiple times where we had to ask for our order to be remade because it just wasn’t fresh or right the first time.
The lobby was also dirty and had an unpleasant smell, which made it hard to even want to sit down and eat. On top of that, the overall hygiene didn’t seem properly maintained. One of the workers was even wearing a bonnet while handling food, which didn’t look professional or sanitary. It just gave the impression that cleanliness and appearance weren’t being taken seriously.
The customer service wasn’t great either. The manager had an attitude even though we were polite the entire time. I even thanked her at the end out of respect, and instead of a normal response she just made a weird sound and didn’t say “you’re welcome” or anything.
It’s just frustrating because this place used to be reliable and enjoyable, and now it feels like the standards have dropped a lot. I really hope they improve their cleanliness, food quality, and customer service, because right now it’s not the same experience it once was.

Had a disappointing customer service experience when dealing with a manager named Maggie. I ordered a sweet and spicy no bacon for my girlfriend and an avocado bacon burger for myself, rookie mistake, I didn’t check the bag before driving off only to discover when I got home I had received a sweet and spicy with no meat whatsoever. I called the store to ask for a replacement and asked Maggie if it would be possible to remake both burgers since I wouldn’t be able to eat the avocado bacon until I got home with the replacement anyway. I returned to the store with both burgers untouched and was told that it was not possible to get both remade, just the sweet and spicy. I returned home with a good fresh sweet and spicy and a 40ish minute old avocado bacon. I’m not upset about the miscommunication but rather the lack of effort in customer service. Overall just disappointing, spend your money somewhere else.

This Whataburger is great. The food is always good. Burgers are hot with the the right amount of lettuce, tomato & sauce that we ask for. Fries are hot & crispy. Staff are excellent. They are friendly & accurate with orders. They always bring the food to our table & offer condiments & ask is there is anything else they can bring. It is a well run place to dine.

The employee named CoCo on their name tag is horrible. We placed our order while the delivery truck was unloading. We waited a bit before pulling through the drive thru . Then we wait even longer (we’re the only ones in the drive thru , no one is eating inside, literally just us). No one came to the drive-thru window to give us drinks or anything. Some guy came around the drive thru and parked, and he went inside and got his food within minutes. Meanwhile, we were still waiting to even be greeted at the drive-thru window. Minutes later we were finally ” greeted” at the window (I say greeted very lightly because coco instantly came at us harshly saying that we pulled up ad soon as we placed our order which isn’t even the case, yet here we are.) Then she says that we need to park … we parked, and the car behind us instantly got their order. We ended up waiting another 15 minutes before we finally received our food. Needless to say, I was not impressed with this experience here.
On top of this, the gravy tasted soapy.

Despite what others are saying about wait time i dont mind because i know for sure this location makes everything fresh as possible. Some people are just used to food that’s processed. My favorite meal is the spicy chicken sandwich which is the longest thing to make but they make sure to let me know that it does take about 8 min since they are making it fresh unlike other places that just have the chicken sitting out.

Excellent customer service by miss khan. She’s is very polite and helpful. Food quality is awesome. Specially the fries very hot and fresh. Clean & peaceful environment. I would highly recommend everyone to visit this place.

If you want a late night meal, take the extra time to drive to a different location. I’m very understanding of the wait times, but they misheard my order and I didn’t realize until after we paid. I would’ve been happy to pay any difference or buy the meal outright, but the man had the audacity to go in for 2 seconds, come back out and say we were good, sending us off with not what I had asked for.

I only go to Whataburgers past midnight to 5 cause everywhere else is closed. Compared to the Sienna location, these guys are way better at those hours. The ac works more and is more comfortable, the food is faster and better quality, the service is good, and the dining room is always open whereas Sienna closes it sometimes.
