This place has an amazing atmosphere the best food and Lauren was our waitress and she was amazing. She even took pictures of our group since it was our friends 40th birthday. I had the sea bass and it was great and friend of mine with me had a steak and it is the most tender melt in your mouth steak you you’ve ever had definitely a place to try when you’re in Hot Springs.

What a great historic restaurant and bar. Beautiful interior and Thanksgiving lunch buffet was fresh, tasty, and fantastic. The tempura shrimp and cranberry relish was 10/10. The dressing was very good-not crappy chain dressing. Service was wonderful.

The good bad and ugly. For a steak house it is okay. The ambience, I would rate it as OK not superior but definitely slightly above average. The food was delicious and there will be no negativity on the taste of the food. I will say for the price point of this restaurant there’s little things they could do better to make it more high-end feel. If in Hot Springs and you desire a good steak stop in and give it a try. There is definitely another steak restaurant in Hot Springs you should try, so you can compare for yourself

Carly was our waitress. She was so sweet and thorough. Griff was our Busser and he was also great! The food was HOT and out in a timely fashion cooked to perfection. I’d highly recommend Porterhouse. Ask for Carly and Griff!

We enjoyed this place so much, our waitress Charlene was amazing and rocked it!! We were there for business and a little relaxation. She was great in telling us about the specials and service was impeccable. I had so many questions for her from the oil used to different things due to my allergies, she was great and timely on getting me answers. The food was some of the best that we have had in a while, I got the sea bass and my husband got a steak special, they were both wonderful. The shrimp trio to start off was perfect. Charlene also suggested a drink from the bar and it was just right and hit the spot. When we were getting ready to go, she also suggested a few hot spots that we should hit up while in town- like I said she was amazing. All of the staff were wonderful and so nice, the atmosphere was great for a little romance but would also be great for a business dinner if needed.

We had such a great time! I can’t believe I’ve lived here my whole life and haven’t been here before. The food was de-lish, but what really made the night great was our waitress (Tori). She was so friendly, on top of everything, and made us feel super welcome.
If you go, I’d definitely ask for Tori (she has cool red and black hair). I’m sure your experience will be just as great as ours was with her as your waitress.
The spot itself is really cool too…such a unique little restaurant with a great vibe. We’ll definitely be back!

A Pleasant Surprise! I have eaten at many high-end restaurants where the flavor is just mediocre but my husband and I came here for our anniversary and we absolutely loved the food! The flavor down to the simple vegetable medley was impeccable. Our Host, Sommelier, and waitress Tori was absolutely amazing!

Thought I was going to an upscale restaurant but turn out to be the golden corral. My wife and I ordered onion soup–the soup had zero onions in it– the bread inside the soup was as hard as a hockey puck and the cheese was no melted but sat on top of the hockey puck. my side salad was served on a tea saucer and our 8 oz filet was tough with no taste–the onion and mushrooms were not sauteed but just heated. The couple next to us also ordered the onion soup and together we just laughed. I have never in my life written a food review, but spent over $200 when golden corral would only have charged us $50
