Food was OUTSTANDING, I enjoyed the fried mushrooms for staters. Then I had the 12oz filet mignon medium rare topped/on the side with the crawfish jubilee and sides sweet potato and creamy spinach. The entire meal was very delicious and recommended trying it all!!! The service that Jessica provided was great and atmosphere was pleasing. This is a place I will find myself returning to for sure!! A great find in small area!!

I’m very disappointed. I’m a connoisseur of restaurants, and I’ve travelled all around the country trying food. I have to say, this is one of the worst experiences in my lifetime.
First off, the service was horrible. My waitress, Heaven, was kind but not very good at her job. I have a problem where I’ve hurts my teeth, so I asked for no ice in my drink. Clearly she wasn’t listening, because my drink came out with ice. I also couldn’t get ahold of her to even ask for her to replace it. She only came to check on my table twice, and I was there for two hours. Speaking of which, we had to wait a whole hour to even receive our food.
When ordering appetizers, Heaven walked away the second we ordered one, when we were going to order another, so we had to only have one appetizer. I’ll say, the fried pickles were actually pretty good, so kudos.
When our actual food came, it was insanely mediocre. Also, one of my sides was on the plate of another person at my table. For a $50 steak, you’d expect to be impressed, but my father could cook better and he can’t even make steak.
The only time our waitress was attentive was when we were paying. Behind us, workers were yelling and laughing very loud, ruining our experience further. The seafood was worse than a gas station’s.

Delicious Catfish & Friendly Service!
We stopped in for an early dinner and had a fantastic experience. We ordered the fried catfish with salad and sweet potato fries, as well as the blackened catfish with salad and steamed broccoli. The blackened catfish was incredibly moist and flavorful, and both the salad and steamed broccoli were fresh and delicious. The fried catfish was just as good—crispy, perfectly cooked, and paired well with the tasty sides.
The service was excellent—friendly, attentive, and welcoming, making our meal even more enjoyable.
If you’re looking for a great spot for delicious seafood with excellent service, this place is definitely worth a visit. We’ll be back for sure!

Heaven B was a total pro. Friendly, fast, and on point without hovering. She kept things smooth and made sure we were taken care of without missing a beat.

We went straight for the jumbo fried shrimp and fries—and wow. These weren’t your average shrimp. They were huge, fresh, and perfectly fried with a light, crispy breading that let the flavor shine. No grease bombs here—just clean, satisfying crunch.
And the dessert? Beechwood’s own Heath Bar Brownie. Massive. Rich. Decadent. We boxed it up and devoured it later that night. No regrets.

I’m from Texas and the steak here is by far the best around. They also have a variety of menu options for anyone. The atmosphere is great as you have your home feel restaurant up front and a dive bar feel in back with the best setup to watch games and eat too. Highly recommend and definitely will be back!

I ordered Beechwood yesterday 7/2/2025 for delivery because I just had surgery and did not want to leave the house. I am sooooooo very very disappointed especially after paying $135.73 and the results were just terrible… I ordered the Beechwood Classic and a Crawfish Julie Sauce to go on top of my steak… as you see by the pictures I took and paid literally $7.00 for this and that is what I got!! It’s the one in the tiny little cup. Also, asked for a side salad and also you can see in the photos what I got. Also ordered fried green tomatoes with extra sauce and did not receive the sauce, ordered cheese sticks with marinara no marinara ordered a side of pasta… which in my mind was going to be flavored, but you see by my pictures it’s literally just cooked pasta!!!!! I have eaten at Beechwood many times and this this right here really pissed me off!! I just spent over $100 at your restaurant and this is what I get?! Even if I’m not actually at the restaurant I deserve better than this!!! I Never leave bad reviews, but this is just horrible!! I am still a customer even though I am not at your restaurant and you should be ashamed of how this order went and how you treat delivery different than in the restaurant!!

There is a reason this place has been in business for over 65 years. Excellent seafood, salads and sides. The Fisherman’s Plate was so good. We throughly enjoyed the fried shrimp and catfish, oysters, stuffed crab, and grilled Bay scallops. The wedge salad was fresh and large enough to share. Our loaded baked potato was delicious.

Visited Beechwood on March 1, 2026. My wife, daughter, and granddaughter accompanied me. We were immediately seated but took waitress a while to take our order. We ordered drinks, and crabcraws. Decided to go ahead and place main course orders. Took about 15 minutes to get drinks. The buss boy served them. We waited 1/2hour before getting any thing else. It was salads. After another 20 minute wait, we got our crab claws. They were not the normal larger sized claws but the lower cost claws. Mostly crust and very little meat. Family was disappointed. Steaks came next. We had been there 1 hr and 40 minutes. Once again served by the buss boy. Had not seen our waitress. Wife had veg melody that was cold. Filet not cooked as she asked for. Granddaughters steak was overcooked and looked like shoe leather. She couldn’t cut it or eat it.
Daughter’s filet was ordered to be filet butterflied and well done. It was not butterflied and dripping with blood. My steak was the 16 oz ribeye. It had so much gristle that I could not cut it. My baked potato was cold. It would not melt butter.
The best part: waitress showed up. She had bill in her hand. The only thing she said after handing me the bill was she would be back in a minute to collect. My family was so disappointed they all had already got into the car and was waiting outside.
Oh the bill was 238 dollars and they recommended a tip starting at 34 bucks up to 50..
I paid the bill and told the waitress we had been disappointed. She told me she was sorry.
It will be a long time before I go back. Gibbes in Learned has better service and food.
