As someone born and raised up north, finding an authentic Italian pizza restaurant that truly hits the mark can be a challenge—but Rico’s exceeds all expectations! We’ve been loyal customers for years, and I can’t recommend it enough, whether you’re dining in or taking out.
What truly sets Rico’s apart is their premium plant-based/vegan options, which are absolutely delicious. With so many people transitioning to plant-based lifestyles, restaurants like this are a breath of fresh air. More and more of us are becoming aware of the unimaginable horrors of the meat, dairy, and egg industries and realizing how they don’t align with our morals or ethics. Rico’s not only offers incredible food but also provides a wide variety of mouthwatering, healthy, and environmentally friendly dishes that make every visit a celebration of compassion and flavor.
My all-time favorite is their Vegetable Pizza with Vegan Cheese—it’s perfection! Their golden cauliflower is a must-try appetizer, and I also love their Margherita Pizza and Eggplant Sandwich, both made with vegan cheese. Every dish is crafted with care and packed with flavor, making Rico’s a standout in every way. All of their pasta dishes are incredible!

We had a delicious pizza made with fresh ingredients and prepared perfectly. The crust was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, and the toppings were generous and flavorful.
I would especially like to highlight Niki, who provided outstanding service. She was friendly, attentive, and professional. She had a warm smile, was quick and efficient, and truly made us feel valued as guests. Her positive attitude really elevates the entire experience.
We will definitely be back and highly recommend this place to everyone!

Rico’s was so delicious! I came here with my family on a vacation and heard through word of mouth that it’s the best pizza in town. And let me tell you—they were right! Not only was the food delicious, but the service was impeccable. Grace F. was our server and she went above and beyond while we were dining in. She gave us so many helpful recommendations for our vacation and made sure we had everything we needed. She checked on us several times and just made our experience with Rico’s that much better. 10/10 reccomed!

Went here with my family. We had a meats and a cheese pizza. The largest size they had. New York style slices. Tasted fresh and the service was good. The music was poppin. Cute place. Definitely recommend checking out and staying for a slice.

Another location my wife and I have driven by too many times to count before finally giving them a shot. The sauce on my wife’s spaghetti was good and had a nice flavor. The serving size of her spaghetti was also very ample to where she turned it into several meals. Her pasta dinner came with bread and a side salad, which she gave to me as she always does. I loved how fresh the lettuce was, and it was also a very good size for a side salad. My dinner consisted of the 16″ pepperoni pizza cut into six slices. The crust was cooked perfectly, and the amount of pepperoni was definitely sufficient. I was able to turn the pizza into three meals. We also ordered a side of the garlic knots, and they did not disappoint. Service was good and attentive, and while the restaurant was not busy, the atmosphere inside was very inviting. If you have not tried this location of Rico’s, you are missing out.

Rico’s Pizzeria and Pasta House absolutely nailed it with their 18” Margherita pizza! This beauty came out like a cheesy, basil-kissed runway model—big, gorgeous, and impossible to ignore. The crust had that perfect “crispy-meets-chewy” balance, the sauce was tangy and fresh, and the mozzarella melted like it had been waiting all day just to make you smile. One slice in and we were already plotting how to “accidentally” take the leftovers home (spoiler: there weren’t any).

Loud,place was half full,I walked in went to an empty counter and felt invisible. 6 servers not even eye contact. I waited, then interrupted a passing server ask if there was service at the counter. The answer was “Yes”. I then asked how do I order. She asked me if I knew what I wanted I answered “yes” not knowing she would take my order. As a customer I felt as if I were bothering the server. The place was not close to full. I don’t care about the food after the experience I had.Big Fail.

However, the service left a bit to be desired. It took about 10 minutes just to be greeted, another 15 minutes to place my order, and then around 15 more minutes to actually get the food. Altogether, I was there for about an hour, which felt long considering it wasn’t very busy when I arrived.
The server (blonde hair) was working incredibly hard — she was the only one on the floor and truly didn’t stop moving the entire time. She was clearly doing her best and absolutely deserves a raise. That said, she wasn’t dressed very professionally (tight spandex shorts), and she looked a bit too young to be serving alcohol. I was also double charged for my glass of wine, which was frustrating and added to the sense of disorganization.
There was another girl helping out who was also hustling, but the place seemed understaffed overall.
Bottom line: amazing food, hardworking staff, but the management needs to tighten up on training, dress code, and billing. I’ll give it another shot — but hopefully with smoother service next time.
