Be going since it opened,(drive-thru) food was very good back then until about 6 or 7 months ago, now papas ala mexicana DRY,, papas & chorizo mexicano DRY, and semi burnt, drive-thru cashier not reading the order, or NOT understanding what she imputed ,telling me thats not what I ordered ,every vehicle infront of me had to complain which made things very very slow, then asked me!!

I love this place been coming here for years. I ordered a bean and chorizo taco, Carne guisada taco.
Eating the last of my Carne guisada taco I felt something hard . I wear braces so I have very sensitive teeth and gums . I pulled out a fingernail tip . When I call and told the manager about it, her only response was well,I can only give you a new taco.I can’t do anything else about the situation.
ThisnWas very disturbing .
Someonr can get really sick from this especially if the employee use the bathroom and didn’t wash their hands.And now i’m chewing on their fingernail.
There will be a big law suit if I fall ill
they did not have any concern about The fingernail.The only resolution is to give me a new Carne guisada Taco . This is the most disgusting service I have ever encountered in a very well known restaurant. I am sad and disappointed in the way the whole situation was handled! Never again, will I eat here!

My experience with this place is relatively new, starting with breakfast tacos and sweet tea and later dining in for lunch.
The breakfast tacos I’ve had so far have been great and pick up was relatively quick and painless. The Sweet Tea really hits the spot with good flavor and on the sweeter side compared to some places, which is another win in my book.
Lunch was fantastic with attentive service and wonderful flavor. I ordered Chicken Enchiladas Verde with a Chile Toreado chopped up on top and this may have been among the best I’ve had in SA (14 years living here and trying a lot of places). Rice is decent, good flavor, slightly overcooked but not dry. The refried beans were good, kinda hard to mess that up, but made better mixed in with some of the verde sauce from the enchiladas. The salsas they offer are wonderful… Red, green, and a creamy green that’s similar to Pollo Asados Los Nortenos (AKA, Smokey Chicken).
All said, I’ll continue to add this place into my rotation and try other things. Wait staff is friendly and attentive; the first to come to my table didn’t speak enough English for this “gringo” to understand clearly, but I also have hearing loss, so I don’t blame her at all. I’m hoping the new iPhone live-translation feature works well for my next dine-in experience, so I can save myself some embarrassment.

Ordered the menudo and it was a little salty which I didn’t mind. What i didn’t like was that it was undercooked and very chewy. We all ordered the same and all three were chewy. Brought it go the attention of our server and she apologized however we were still charged full price. I don’t think that was acceptable….I paid with good money i expect a good product.

Well, there goes my business here. Refuse to pay for chips & salsa at lunch when already paying average $16 for meal with tea. There’s many other places that are just as good here in SA that have complimentary c&s. Was good while it lasted. Maybe they should have asked their routine customers before making this change? I guess next will be charging for tea refills. Will sadly miss going here.

I purchased 3 orders of caldoderes and very disappointed!! I was given nothing but chunks of meat and absolutely no veggies! I had to come home and add veggies!then they gave me a small container of rice when there should be 3 orders of rice for each order! Ive always hesitated to try this place but I WILL NEVER GO HERE AGAIN! SPENT OVER $40 AND IT WAS A WASTE OF MY MONEY! 1 star IS OVER RATED!

Jaime’s Mexican restaurant is a total win. Eggs a la Mexicana, nopales with eggs, carne guisada con queso, beans and chorizo, etc. are all delicious and my favorite tacos that are made fresh, specially their fully developed flavors on the carne guisada! Don’t forget the addicting green salsa and request the red salsa. Great costumer service as well, they smile and welcome your presence with positive energy. Just come here and be treated like a king or queen and enjoy some great tacos.
