We visited Kebab House over the weekend and had a very satisfying Mediterranean meal. We started with grape leaves, hummus with pita, and falafel, all of which were fresh and flavorful. For the main course, the mutton kebab plate and chicken shawarma plate were both well seasoned, and the rice was especially aromatic. We also tried a special chicken plate of the day with a tasty leg quarter — simple but really well done. To finish, the kunafa was excellent and easily one of our favorite desserts. Overall, a solid spot and definitely a must-try in New Orleans for Mediterranean food lovers.

Small restaurant where you order at a back counter, with adequate tables, but wow, I believe they serve the best Mediterranean food in the city.
On our visit, we tried the Beef Schwarma and a Gyro Wrap, and both were quickly made to order and brought to our table. We also stocked up on Baklava treats, which they had a large, varied selection of.
Have to say I was impressed with Kabob House. This is not a fancy sit-down restaurant, and there may be a small line at the counter to make your order, but their food is authentic and awesome!

This place is absolutely AMAZING and exceeded our expectations. The service was incredible from start to finish. Waleed (and all the rest of the staff) went above and beyond to help us and made the whole experience even better. The food was phenomenal—extremely flavorful and clearly made with care. It is definitely now one of my favorite restaurants in the metro area. I truly can’t praise this business enough and highly recommend it! Very impressed.

Delicious! I think this may some of the best Mediterranean I’ve had. Serious. When you’re looking for a little break from the abundance of Cajun fried food here, this is what you want! Pleasant staff, fast service and totally worth every penny.

I eat a lot of middle Eastern food and I think this place is easily the best in the area. The flavors are incredible. I’ve never had a meal I didn’t love. The bread is amazing. The garlic sauce is savory and a prefect compliment. The beef, chicken and gyro are great. I try to eat here a few times a month.

Walked in hungry, left full and happy. The food was great and the young man at the counter was super nice and friendly. I had the gyro wrap and it was exactly what I was looking for. The establishment was well-lit, very clean and inviting. Not super crowded, so I decided to sit and eat. My food was brought to my table fast and still piping hot. I would definitely recommend Kabob House to anyone looking for some good, quick Mediterranean food.

I ate here twice in one week. On the first visit, I had the half chicken and half beef shawarma and the other guest had the lamb chops. The salad had a yummy and fresh dressing. Overall, we were blown away by the quality, taste and portion sizes of the food. The service was really good as well. I placed a pickup order a few days later for the beef shawarma wrap. It was really greasy for some odd reason. I also tried the Lebanese Tea and it was amazing!!! I’d definitely go back for that alone.
