I’ve eaten here a few times and the food is really good. However, their option for online ordering is a mess. I prefer to order online just so I can just pick up and go, but every time I do, my order is never ready. Even when I purposely pick up my order later than the pick up time given, the staff will literally start making my order as soon as I arrive in the store. Tonight I had to wait an extra 30 minutes for my food to be ready as I watched customers walking in have their food prepared before mine. It seems the online ordering is pointless.

Order on the app, the order on the receipt was right, but the order in the bag was wrong. So I went back to get my order corrected. I thought I was good, because I saw the manager check the receipt while making my order. Smh my order is still wrong. I ordered flour with cheese, but they gave me dry and hard flour with no cheese and I asked for shredded cheese and still no cheese. OMG the rice was hard. I will just stick to the Café Rio on Craig, because this one sucks.

Do not order from the app for this location. I was in a hurry and put in an online order. I got there 15min early assuming they would just start making my order like anyone else who walks in the restaurant. They didnt start making it until id been there for 10min. When I tried to cancel the to-go lady said that I couldnt because they still had time since fulfillment time wasn’t for another 5min. Meanwhile I saw literally 15 people come in and get their food and walk out. I should have just ordered when I got there, I dont understand.

I’ve been a fan of Cafe Rio for a while, but I’ve recently been frustrated with their consistent issues regarding opening times. It seems like they never open on time, which has really interfered with my work schedule. On several occasions, I’ve arrived only to find the doors still locked, and it’s disappointing when you’re trying to grab a quick meal.
Additionally, even when they do open, I’ve noticed that the food prep isn’t always ready for orders. This results in longer wait times, which is frustrating when you’re on a tight schedule. I hope they can address these timing issues so that customers can enjoy their meals without the added stress.

No one does Americanized Mexican food better than Cafe Rio! I’ve been a fan of Cafe Rio for years and after all this time they don’t get old and never disappoint. This location is no exception. The food and service are on point and their Horchata is top notch! If you haven’t tried Cafe Rio, you’re missing out big time!!!

Yikes! The people behind the counter were not happy to be working at all. We waited for steak for our salads which, When we came in the server said it would be 5 minutes and there was no line behind us so we were happy to wait.
The steak came out cold, very rare, and huge pieces. The bathrooms were not sanitized and no towels in the womens room. Overall Cafe Rio use to be a go to spot for me but, Im starting to look elsewhere.

Ordered the $20 meal deal & 2 kids meals. They got my kids order wrong & instead of getting a large guacamole they gave me a large container of pico de gallo, which isn’t even an option with the chips. The salsa spilled all over the bag & we’re missing all of our sides. We were looking forward to having this for a night in on Valentine’s.

Nice location overall. Food was great (forgot to take a photo of food lol.) and it wasn’t to busy. Staff all seemed to be working but service was still pretty slow so I could see people getting frustrated. Maybe understaffed? Not sure.
