Bengal Tiger Thai Cuisine

This Thai food truck is very easy to find. It’s located at a gas station and comes in the form of a bright orange food truck that really stands out.

They offer a wide variety of Thai dishes such as papaya salad (Som Tam), tom yum shrimp soup, green curry, glass noodle salad, and more. For drinks, they have Thai iced tea and milk green tea.

The prices are reasonable—mid-range—but the portions are very generous for the price. As for the taste, the food is absolutely authentic Thai style and very delicious.

However, you may need to wait a little while because the owner cooks everything alone and pays close attention to every detail.

Fantastic Thai food. Very friendly co-owner came out and talked with us while we waited on our food. I got the panang curry and my spouse got the pad Thai. Curry had a lovely flavorful heat to it. The place does get busy (we were there for about 35 minutes) so next time we’ll call ahead. But worth the wait.

Owner operated food truck operating at the side of a Chevron gas station. Don’t let that put you off. Authentic Thai food cooked to order and well worth the wait. The owner takes pride in her cooking. I had the Stir Fried Red Curry with chicken and my partner had the Pad Thai plus we shared a Papaya Salad. All med spice and everything was extremely well cooked and flavorful and portion sizes were large.
Definitely better than some Thai restaurants we have been to and better value for money.
Outside seating for about 8-10 people but we opted to go as we were staying about 5 mins away while visiting Stuart. Go here and you will not be disappointed. Highly recommend.

This was the first time I’ve visited this food truck and let me tell you it didn’t disappoint! The Shrimp fried rice was delicious and so was the Chai tea. Everything tasted fresh. I totally recommend this little place. The lady was so kind when I picked up my order.

Gas and I’m not talking about it being parked next to the chevron on ocean blvd. Order at the orange truck to watch all the action. Nice aroma in the air. 15 minutes and my food was ready. Chill vibe where you can dine at the bright orange eating areas with lawn chairs + picnic table. Thai food outside on a breezy day is a freaking vibe. I got shrimp fried rice and 12 wings. The wings were a nice medium size and smelled + tasted like soy sauce, garlic, and other spices. Could use some rice with it. Seasoned very well and lightly crispy on outside when cooked fresh. Juicy and succulent and the mild and spicy sauces complimented the wings. I liked both and the owner even made the sauce spicier for my taste. Mild is flavorful and just right for everyone, but don’t be shy in trying the spicy. It won’t blow your palate. Trust. Just 6 wings were very filling for me so you could feed 2-3 people with 12 and a side of rice. The fried rice had a very ideal type of fragrance from the wok and I see they cook almost everything fired up in that thang. I knew by the look and the aroma that it would hit the spot, but the first bite was total confirmation. Well seasoned and balanced textures with extra long grain jasmine rice (which I find unique), fresh vegetables: carrots, onions + green onions/scallions, and succulent medium large sized shrimp. Mild, not spicy but I’m sure they can adjust the level to your needs. I recommend adding some wing sauce to your fried rice for an extra kick of flavor. Lime adds some nice brightness & acidity to cut through the bit of oil. Probably the best shrimp fried rice I’ve had in some time. “Perfectly balanced… as all things should be.” – Thanos. I inhaled the whole thing in one sitting like kirby. Just right for my taste. Gotta try more stuff soon. Slide thru when you have the chance.

We came on a Sunday night 1/2 hour before closing ravenous. Keith and Nume were so sweet with us (and the dogs got a cookie!). We had papaya salad with shrimp (fresh and delicious), veggie green curry (loaded with broccoli, carrots, bamboo shoots and a silky curry sauce) and chicken pad thai (lots of chicken).

The portions were generous, the food was fresh and delicious and the prices were very reasonable.

We will be back!!
