Super delicious diner quality food served with friendly hospitality.
I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at Imperial Burgers. The junior Burger and fries tasty. Much better than In ‘n’Out. It also seemed the meal was presented with the utmost care as the burger didn’t not look like it was hastily prepared.
The diner has both an indoor and outdoor dining counter service. The whole ok place looked very clean as I did not see one single piece of trash on the floor. Even the indoor dining area looked really clean.

This gem has been serving up quality since the 70s. Their steak sandwich is flavorful and a big hit with the locals. A perk of coming here is they us RC Cola instead of the usual coke. Personally, I love Royal Cola, but you dont see it in restaurants often. Their salads are good and their fries and onion rings are amazing. They have EPIC homemade ranch, but you have to pay $1 for it (it is a large container of ranch, and I feel is a good value). Their burgers are delicious as well and they have banana peppers available on request. You can order inside or outside if you want to take it to go.

Ordered Pastrami Sandwich. The pastrami was juicy, however maybe a nicer bun would add a bit more flavor contrast to the meal. Ordered a side dish of onion rings which was mostly batter. Also fact they charge extra for ranch for the onion rings is a bit extra. Atmosphere is small and maybe could use some renovation, however staff was nice.

Food was not good. The soda did not taste like soda, the burger’s buns were hard, and my fries were not fully cooked. The price did not seem worth the food at all. Chicken strips tasted like fish as well. Also the people that were dining in seemed discriminating towards Latinos. Right after a Latino family left the people were making bad comments. Also very outdated .

My family love eating her so I’m normal out voted. But I normally watch them handle food with bare hands and unwashed hands. The last time I came I got the chilli cheese fires and the cashier made my fires and right after handling money, and register just grabbed my cheese to put on top of my food with her bear hands. Her finger nails were dirty. Honestly I’ll just eat something at home with my family wants something from here.

Stop Supporting This Business!
If You Want to Close Early, Change Your Hours!!!
I’ve been a loyal customer of this location for over 5 years, but tonight was the final straw.
I called in a phone order 45 minutes before closing and was placed on hold. While still on hold, I drove over and arrived 35 minutes before closing. There was already a line at the window, but suddenly they decided they were “closed” and stopped taking orders. The couple in front of me said they’d only been waiting 5–7 minutes, meaning this place effectively shut down 35–45 minutes early.
This is not a one-time issue.
This is the fifth time this has happened.
About two weeks ago, I arrived 30 minutes before close to find the window shut. I knocked, and a tall younger female employee opened the window, told me they were closed, and before I can ask a question she laughed, and shut the window in my face.
Tonight, I confronted the same employee.
Instead of addressing the issue, she sarcastically asked if I wanted to work there and proceeded to list every other restaurant nearby that I could go to instead —clearly showing she did not care whether they lost my business or not.
I asked to speak to a manager. She began yelling, told me to “report them,” and again encouraged me to go to competing restaurants.
If you want to close at 9:00 PM, then change your business hours. Don’t keep the lights on, the window open, and customers waiting —only to decide you’re done early.
After I walked back to my car, the manager came out and apologized for the employee’s behavior, stating he “couldn’t control her.” That’s concerning —because if management has no authority, then customers have no reason to trust this business. Plus this wasn’t the 1st time.
This used to be a great local burger spot. Unfortunately, it’s clear this location no longer values its customers or its reputation.
I will not be returning, and I strongly encourage locals to stop supporting Imperial Burgers until they start respecting the community that’s supported them for years

Best take out in the LA Habra area for burgers and other sandwiches and Mexican dishes as well, classic style, wrapped in yellow paper, best crinkle fries hands down, plus they give you alot. Lady taking orders seems short and to the point but she running a business so I get it. The food makes up for it. Not much seating unless you are okay sitting right in front of the order and pick up windows. Plenty of parking, 50/50 on the restroom, it’s clean but old.
