Kabobske on Short Vine in Clifton is a gem. I tried the $12.99 three course meal and it was honestly incredible, fast, fresh, and very filling. I had the chicken shawarma with rice and salad, plus soup, and everything tasted incredible. The owner was friendly and really knew the menu, he walked me through options, made a couple recommendations, and I trusted his picks. He nailed it. If you want a quick Mediterranean meal that’s fresh and satisfying, this is the spot. 10/10, I’ll be back.

Kabobske is easily one of my favorite places to grab lunch. Everything is super fresh, full of flavor, and made from scratch. Their hummus is homemade and seriously some of the best I’ve ever had—so creamy and packed with flavor. And the homemade pita chips? Totally addictive. I could eat a whole bag of them on their own.
The portion sizes are generous, so I always end up with leftovers, and the prices are really reasonable for the quality you’re getting. The seasonings and sauces are amazing too. You can tell a lot of care goes into making everything taste just right.
On top of all that, the owners are so friendly. They always remember my name and make me feel like I’m part of the family. It’s one of those places you look forward to going back to.

BEWARE – We bought 5 lunches for $84.95. When paying on their tablet, no tip screen came up, so I thought well, the prices are kinda high and it is counter service so that’s nice that they don’t expect that. When I checked the receipt, however, they had automatically added a 30%! tip to the check and another 3% “service fee” on top of that without asking or even telling me. I will never go back and encourage others to avoid. The person who seemed to be in charge claimed it was all some kind of mysterious accident, but come on. Receipt attached.

I have had great Gyros in Chicagoland many times. This seemed like a great alternative, got their walking Gyro which was basically salad and chips with Gyro meat, it was meh to me.

The owner was super nice and friednly. He let us try whatever ingredients we wanted to see if we’d like them on our gyro wraps and gave great suggestions. Everything was absolutely delicious and all his home made sauces were great!

Fantastic place, I’m not super familiar with Mediterranean food but this pace made me love it! I got the rice bowl with falafel. Owner and employees are extremely nice and willing to give you suggestions and let you taste things before getting them. Absolutely wonderful.

Our company provided notary services for a staff member and decided to grab some lunch to go. Andy, the owner made me a traditional Lebanese Falafel salad. It was delicious! We will definitely be going back again.
