Burgers & other fast-food options at a regional chain named after a legendary American cowboy actor.

Tasty crispy chicken, pretty good gravy for mashed potatoes, really good coleslaw slaw and great service. They give the option of skipping the line using the kiosk, but we enjoyed the slightly older gentleman with the hair twist at the register. Service was friendly & fast. The bathroom could use a serious scrubbing and hot steaming. Very greasy doors & floors. The sink countertop was clean but the bowl had dirt buildup on the copper.

We ordered the cod fish sandwiches that were just a bit dry, like they had been cooked a while ago. Fries were good but also not fresh tasting. It was late on a rainy afternoon but no discount on price, so food quality should have been fresher. I would rather be told to wait a bit for fresh food than be served banked food. Staff was pleasant.

I’ve been to a lot of fast food restaurants, but this is it. I wish we had a place like this in Michigan. The service was great. The atmosphere was great and the food was more than great. I like that they have a topping bar so you can put your own toppings on your sandwich and their Roy barbecue sauce is great. I had Steak and cheese topped whipped jalapeños, banana peppers, and Roy barbecue sauce and mashed potatoes and it hit the spot.

1/4 pound burger sure didn’t seem like it was close to that. Place was slow, so should have been cleaner. If I had to guess they didn’t want to come out from behind the counter to clean the dining room. Especially the top of the napkin holder was really gross. Staff was friendly enough, the fixings bar seemed relatively fresh. But can’t see any reason why I ever go back, especially for that price and food quality.

My rating is based on comparable fast food. The staff were freindly, the place was clean. I love the fixins bar. Nowadays, the expectations at fast food is ambivalent or even rude staff – here, its still 1990s Frederick – pride in work and friendly, neighborly staff.

It Roy’s! Always good and better than other options. The Frederick location is very well run and everyone is super friendly. Highly recommend thier breakfast or lunch. I always get a sourdough bacon egg and cheese for breakfast or chicken tenders with mashed potatoes for lunch.

We had a fantastic experience here! Had car trouble and got breakfast and waited with the family while the car was being worked on nearby. The food was great and the manager stopped by our table and was very understanding and let us wait! After a couple hours he even gave us some free drinks out of sympathy! All together felt very welcomed and a part of the family atmosphere here!

Roy Rogers is one of my favorite fast food chains. This location is always well staffed, clean, and friendly. I’ve eaten in the dining room or gone through the drive through at least a dozen times and never had a bad experience. Love the toppings & condiments bar. Great burgers, fried chicken, and I love the mashed potatoes too. There aren’t that many Roy Rogers out there but if you’re looking for a quick bite in Frederick this is the best you can get.

Chicken was good but took a hot minit to get. Like drive through should never take more than 10 min from order to fulfillment. But the chicken was good. Darn good. Expensive a f tho. 10 dollar 3 piece without the sides. There burgers ain’t all that either. I didnt even order one because it’s like that. Darn good chicken tho.

Delicious fast food! It’s an Arbys meets Popeyes meets Burger King. They have roast beef sandwiches better than one you would get at Arby’s, Biscuits better than Popeyes, and the burgers are probably better than Burger Kings. Overall amazing food, spotless and clean restaurant, and super friendly staff! The bathrooms were not the best, but there is a sheetz nearby for restrooms. Great place to stop at for diner!
