I stopped into PHOnatik and ordered the rare steak pho — absolutely delicious! The broth was rich and flavorful, the steak was tender and perfectly cooked, and there were tons of noodles. The portion was generous and satisfying, and the flavors were spot-on. Definitely one of the best pho spots I’ve tried in the US.

Better places close by. Why can’t restaurant just admit we forgot about your order. Also you can’t send home RAW beef. I don’t mean rare, I mean never seen a heat source RAW!

Amazing food and service.We got the large oxtail pho with bok choy, the grilled chicken plate, the rib eye pineapple sauce, crab wonton, and Calamari. Everything was so delicious oxtail was amazing fall off the bone meat. Friendly service and such a good vibe there☺️

I love this place! Amazing delicious and HOT food every time. I came here after my dentist appointment and not eating all day. I got food for tomorrow as well. I highly recommend the Beef Stew (it has amazing brisket and carrots) and they provide the bok choy, onion, jalapeño, etc on the side so you can add what you like. It is sooo delicious and they give a good amount of meat. I burned the roof of my mouth to take a bite of the brisket because I was so hungry and just couldn’t wait. Also their “Caliphornia spring roll” which has pickled carrot, grilled chicken, avocado, green onion etc and their plain beef bone broth is Devine!! Most amazing flavor and fairly priced so I get one every single time even if I use it to make other meals at home, but it’s also delicious on its own and I would get it for my mom when she had to have surgery and couldn’t eat anything solid. Thank you to everyone who works hard to make this delicious food!!

I had the single order egg roll and the Hu Tieu soup.
I personally was not impressed with the egg roll. I am used to getting some noodles and lettuce, cilantro and other stuff when ordering bagels in the lower 48. I am picky about my egg rolls, so it wouldn’t be something I would order again.
On a high note, the Shrimp Hu Tieu soup was really good. This is not a soup you find often, so the fact that they did offer the superior was an indicator of what I would consider more authentic Vietnamese food.
My friend ordered the Noodle bowl and she was very happy with that as well. I would go here again.
Owners….. Please take the time to clean the windows, our table was right next to the window and you could see all kinds of splatter on the inside, it was kind of a turn off since you sit right next to it. Take the time to clean the windows and around the sill on a regular basis.
With my experience in food and beverage management, this would be something on my nightly checklist.

Went here for the 1st time on Saturday during my lunch break from work. The good: the food was fantastic, ordered a large rare steak bowl, the pho was perfectly combined ratios of beef, noodles, veggies, & broth. The crab rangoons were obviously house made & not pre-packaged. They were delicious! Prices were a little higher than other Vietnamese restaurants in the area, but not too bad. What wasn’t good: how long it took from placing my order to actually getting my food. I did go during lunch rush. But I have an hour for lunch and work is very close. It took 35 minutes for my food to arrive. That seems excessive, even for lunch time. I definitely recommend the food, but if you have time constraints, wait until you have time, as you may be waiting awhile. Also, no napkins anywhere to be found at my table or anyone else’s I could see. So had to use my sweatshirt sleeve. Waitstaff did not stop by to see how everything was after delivering my food to see if I needed anything. In summary: food is great, but you’ll be waiting awhile, & they need to put napkins on the table.

PHOnatik has a very clean, modern interior and is aesthetically appealing, but unfortunately the food did not meet our expectations. We ordered the chicken pho, and the broth lacked depth and flavor compared to other pho spots we’ve tried.
Another concern was food safety. One of my daughters has a peanut and tree nut allergy. While I understand the risk of cross-contamination, this is something we’ve navigated at many pho restaurants without issue. During our visit, she experienced throat tingling and itchy eyes, which was concerning and negatively impacted the experience.
Social media made this place seem like an outstanding pho destination, but for us it fell short in flavor and overall experience. We’ve only been once and don’t plan on returning.

Ordered for take out was told 25 came back in was told another 10/15 minutes just for my food to be cold and my large pho beef stew had no broth kinda disappointed but it was still good food even though.

Fantastic pho. Definitely the best in anchorage. Oxtail pho ftw. Will definitely visit again. Its $22 but i got 2 huge oxtail. So its definitely worth it
