I went for breakfast and it was delicious. Classic Americana, absolutely great potatoes. The hot sauce at every table was quite tasty. I bought myself a bottle.

Very nice family restaurant. Me and my Mom love going there every once in a while. On this most recent visit, I got their biscuits and sausage gravy with eggs and it was perfect. My Mom also loved her cheese omelet. If I had to nitpick, the table was a little wobbly. But that’s barely a complaint. The waitress was also very nice. Can’t wait to come again.

Tried here for the first time. Food was alright. Meatloaf was like a very old school flavored meatloaf. It wasn’t bad. Loved the gravy. Potatoes tasted like they were just mashed and had nothing added. Salad was good, just very basic. I am super picky about meatloaf so it could just be me. I’m sure it’s very popular! I’m just not a fan of the older recipes with green peppers in them. I liked the environment, it was unique and looks just like what you’d think an older cafe would look like. I would go back again and try other things. The others in my party had breakfast and really enjoyed their food.

Just happened to stop here with my daughter. It is a delightful Hidden Gem in Thorp. Service was awesome and the menu choices were plentiful and the food was delicious. Reasonably priced. I don’t live in the area at all but I will certainly put that on my list of places to go to eat even if it’s well out of my way

Was hoping for a hidden gem but not to be. The only game in this small town and it was ok. Service was poor ( it always pisses me off when I don’t get my water refilled!). My soup ws out of a tasteless can and side salad was lame. My Philly burger was the highlight and I would get it again ! Others liked their orders

Greeted by a 🙂 and seated us immediately took our order, and food came out hot. The food was ok. The place was clean but had no hand soap in the men’s room. Told the waitress, and she took something back there. Went to wash, and the dispenser would not work. Told some guy, maybe the manager said he would take care of it and sat down on a stool. Disturbing. Would try again.

Good food at a great price. I had a Thorpedo with fries and soda for under $15. Fries were delicious. Thorpedo was good, filling, but a hair smaller than the name suggests – it was more than enough food. I had the beef soup and it was amazing! Waitresses were friendly and attentive. I really enjoyed it and will be going back on my next drive.
The others in our group had meatloaf and a breakfast platter which they said was great as well and would order again.

Went on a drive through the countryside and found this wonderful spot for some brunch! Excellent food, friendly staff, and really nice hometown mom n’ pop atmosphere. Definitely will be back and highly recommend to other rural explorers!
