Social Profile:

This is a family-owned and run restaurant specializing in home-style Eastern Mediterranean and Eastern European cooking. We prepare the food with love and use only the freshest of ingredients. We opened our doors in December 2008 with a vision to create a pleasant and homey place where people can enjoy good food and company in relaxed and inviting atmosphere. Everything here is fresh and made from scratch, including our delicious artisan flatbread. All of the kabobs are made with high quality meats, marinated to perfection in our own combination of herbs, spices and sauces, and flame broiled to deliver that special mouth-watering taste of home. Quality, cleanliness and friendly service are the mainstay of our restaurant.

Counter-serve cafe with a range of Turkish & Persian dishes in a blue-walled space with a fountain.

We came to Shiraz Shish Kebab because of the strong Google rating and number of reviews, expecting rich and flavorful Persian/Middle Eastern food. Unfortunately, the experience did not live up to the hype.

We ordered beef, lamb, and chicken kebabs with rice. The plates were heavily loaded with rice, but the portion of protein felt small for the price. The vegetables were borderline burnt, and the meal overall lacked depth and flavor. There were no sauces provided, which made everything taste dry and one-dimensional. Having had excellent Middle Eastern food before, this was noticeably underwhelming.

Service also left something to be desired. The staff, particularly at the front, did not seem welcoming or engaged.

For what we paid, there are better options in town. The high rating is surprising given the food quality and overall experience. Unfortunately, we won’t be returning.

Locally owned kebab joint that is out of this world good. I have been visiting this place for years and its one of my favorites. This is good wholesome Mediterranean food, its all made from scratch.

The meats used are of high quality. The food never fails to be fresh. The location is always immaculately clean. The atmosphere is very nice & peaceful inside.
The owners are friendly people that obviously care about the service they provide.

The naan bread is AMAZING, best ever. But my favorite menu item by far is the Baba Gannouj. A smoky roasted eggplant type of dip that elevates the meal to a whole ‘notha level . You MUST try the Baba Gannouj if you go here.

Dont miss out on this place, its an absolute treasure.

Amazing shish kabob! Best hummus in Bryan college station. Very clean restaurant and fairly priced. Every time we come here the food and service is consistent.

This has been on our list to try for a while and I’m so glad we finally did! The service was so friendly, food was hot, fresh, and delicious, and the tea (made with fresh tea leaves) is very good. The shish kabob plates come with choice of seasoned meat, grilled onions & tomatoes, rice, and a small piece of bread. Plenty of food and so authentic. We will definitely be back.

I have not been here for a couple of months since my wife does not like it. I decided to try it one day I was in town for lunch. I really like this place and usually get the chicken kabobs. Everything was fine and as usual. The one thing I noticed is they are not allowing refills on drinks.

Came here for my husband’s birthday lunch and it was delicious. We got a platter with the shiraz kebab and lamb filet and the meats were soooo flavorful and tender. The flatbread is kind of thin and almost cracker like which was tasty with the dips we got. The service was just ok, but that doesn’t matter when the food is THIS tasty!! I’d 100% come back again and try the other types of meat.

Came here for the first time with my wife. We ordered the custom half and half platters. Keep in mind, these platters are really just a plate lunch for 1 person, it is not an actual platter or ala cart like I thought lol. We got the lamb shish, chicken shish, and Shiraz shish (2x) with rice and bread. The bread was like a giant cracker. We also ordered the pistachio Baklava which looked like a mini turnover. They were all very delicious. I wish the meat portions were a bit more for the price we paid, but we still enjoyed it and would like to return every so often.

Parking lot is small, but it wasn’t busy so there was plenty of stalls. Lots of tables and chairs to dine on. Staff are very friendly and pretty fast.

The food here is very good. I had lunch this past week on a cold day and it hit just right. It’s not the most fancy place in town but it’s a great stop for lunch and it’s Aggie owned.
