I don’t like fish. Not at all. But the server enticed me to try the chipotle mayo and panko coated whitefish tacos. I could not have been more pleasantly surprised! It was AMAZING. And the house-made tartar sauce was so good on the tacos and the house fries. Probably the only reason worth visiting historic fish town, but I’m glad I did!
The garlic parmesan whitefish and perch were enjoyed by my friends. Everything looked great here and the service was great.

Great place for dinner if you’re near Leland Michigan. Unique restaurant with delicious food. The pie was amazing!! Definitely get it. It was super busy and we got sat right away. You can get a great view of the water as well if you have a window seat. Service was great. Would definitely go back. I got the campfire whitefish and it was delicious

Stopped for lunch in the Historic Fishtown district in Leland Michigan at The Cove. We were seated right away, would of been a wait for outdoor seating. Wait service was quick and pretty efficient . Ordered 2 specials : their Perch sandwich , and added fries , which arrived quickly and were just ok. A bit pricey for two perch filets on a bun and a handful of fries at $24. But overall ,not to bad for a quick lunch with a view of the river.

This place deserves 5* for their Seafood Chowder and Whitefish New Orleans. I can finish 2 bowls of the the chowder and still want more. The Whitefish New Orleans is very creamy and not dry and is definitely the entree I would prefer. Tried their Signature Bloody Mary drink as well, for the price and hype, not a big fan. Instead, get the Seafood Chowder! Handed us a very nice postcard at the end and that was a nice gesture. Definitely recommend this place of you’re visiting Fishtown!

The Cove was awesome! Food, environment, and service was great! We tried the fried walleye and chips. It was a super busy weekend but we got in right away. The prices were a little higher than I think they should be but that’s all I would say negatively about our experience. Thanks for the great food!

This restaurant along side the dam at Fishtown has a great view of the dam and Salmon jumping upstream adding to the atmosphere. The exterior is fitting for Historic Fishtown and thus fairly simple. The warm whitefish spread and freshly house made chips were great along with the chowder! A perfect way to take the damp chill off from the weather.

This is a casual dining place. We ordered the whitefish sandwich and the walleye fish and chips, and both were good. The patio has a very nice view of the water, making it a solid option for casual dining.

Great vibe, food, and service! I love that it’s right on the waterfront with views from both inside and outside on the patio. We all got whitefish (fish n chips, fish tacos, parm/garlic whitefish, and pineapple/salsa whitefish [the special]). Everything was excellent and service was friendly and quick. Also, try the whitefish chowder! Definitely recommend!

Everything was wonderful!! Dinner was so great we went back for lunch (and had the same server, Lucy! She is incredible!). We had the whitefish Cajun pasta and lobster stuffed whitefish. The vibes are great and the vacation feel is a 10/10!
