Everything about this place was amazing! Every single staff member we encountered was so incredibly nice, and the service was exceptional. Our waitress was constantly checking on us, asking if we needed anything, and a different server who had the table next to us even came over to see what we needed when we put the little table sign up. It was great to see everyone working as a team. I loved the vibes there. The food was also soooo good!! Definitely going back!!

My friend and I were in our way to a different place and saw this place was open. We decided to go there! The greeter was friendly and showed us to our seat right away. We places drink and food orders soon after being stated. Our food was delicious! The only issues was that I asked for no bacon in my order and it was still prepared with bacon. When I told the waitress, she took the blame and said she told them verbally instead of electronically…

The place is clean , staff is friendly but I had a few issues with our food the bacon was so hard my husband chipped his tooth legit I thought that would have been addressed more but it wasn’t other than here’s another pancake w bacon ..the tacos were good if not for the hard rock , I got the chicken pesto melt it the chicken again hard as a rock I couldn’t bite through it so I pulled it off and ate some of it without chicken and it was tasty with peppers and onions … the show stopper is those home fries delicious… would I come back yeah it’s possible but they need to not over cook things and as for his chipped tooth he has to fix the least they could of done was take it off the bill

The Place 2 Be is really the place to be! We went for a brunch date, and enjoyed every moment. Diverse menu options, drinks and food, unique twists on classics, 110% effort on presentation, and fantastic service. Food came out speedy, and each worker we spoke with was so nice! Maple pecan latte was comfort in a cup, and the fruity pebbles French toast was flavorful with a perfect balance of flavor without being overly sweet. Our server, Cookie, was the best! Attention to details was spot on, and attitude was upbeat and kind. Undoubtedly will be back and will be asking for Cookie!

I went to the Memorial Day parade in WH on Monday and decided to check out another restaurant that was totally booked. I stumbled upon this spot, I’ve tried the one in Hartford before, but never this one. The atmosphere is nice, the place is nicely decorated. They have outdoor seating, which we went for, the waitress was all over the place..lol..bless her heart. She brought out one drink and not the other. After waiting for about 15 minutes while my partner waited for me to get my drink, I decided to go see what’s going on. The manager said they were changing shifts. I said well why even bring out 1drink, should have never brought anything until u could bring both. We ended up getting our drinks eventually. The food came out alil faster, and it was actually good, I didn’t have much hope after the drink fiasco. Which, by the way, was not good, taste like rotten lime. I’m a Tequila girl, and I love a fresh lime. The lime was brown, and it tasted weird. The overall experience was not too bad.

I’ll start on a good note, the food was really good. The steak and cheese was nice and juicy, my French toast was good, but overpriced for two pieces of bread which is 7.99, and it’s 1.99 to add toppings such as chocolate chips, Nutella, etc.. The waiters were nice and friendly but I feel like they were pushing for us to order more. I noticed mold in the water glass container (in the picture) and it was very obviously mold you could even see the white ring around it through the glass, and when I showed the waiter, he said it’s probably a stain (it was definitely not a stain and even if it was, very unsanitary and not acceptable to serve). The seat we were sitting at had flies all on the window edge behind us, and the table was really wobbly. But the food was good lol, so if you want their food I recommend ordering to go, but I probably wouldn’t come here again because I don’t even know how dirty the kitchen is.

I recently dined at The Place 2 Be, and while the food and service were solid, an unexpected and unpleasant experience left a lasting impression.

Let’s start with the positives: the food was great—flavorful, well-prepared, and exactly what I was hoping for. Our server, Omar, was attentive and professional, checking in regularly and making sure we had everything we needed without being overbearing. Service overall was efficient, and the restaurant had a lively atmosphere.

However, what should have been a great dining experience took a major downturn when a live roach appeared at our table. When we informed the staff, their response was underwhelming—they casually searched for the roach as if this were a routine occurrence. No apologies, no immediate action, just an awkward moment that felt like a scene straight out of Joe’s Apartment. Even worse, there was no offer to discount our meal, despite the obvious sanitation issue.

A restaurant can have great food and attentive service, but cleanliness is non-negotiable. The nonchalant attitude from the staff made it clear that this wasn’t the first time they had dealt with a pest issue, which is deeply concerning.

Would I return? Probably not. While the food was good, the presence of a roach and the lack of accountability from management completely ruined the experience. If The Place 2 Be wants to maintain its reputation, it needs to address this issue immediately, because no great meal is worth sharing a table with a roach.

We ordered the Spicy Steak Melt with Curly Fries and the French Toast with Fried Chicken, plus two mimosas (classic and tropical). Everything was phenomenal.

The steak melt was perfectly seasoned the best steak melt I ever had , the curly fries were crispy and addicting, and the chicken & French toast combo was cooked to perfection ,sweet, savory, and so satisfying.

Both mimosas were great, but the tropical one was definitely the winner.

Overall, the food was so good I could eat it every day. Fresh, flavorful, and honestly 5-star quality across the board. Highly recommend!

The food was absolutely delicious and was on the table in under 20 minutes. However, the restaurant was not at all busy at the time, so that could be why the food came so quickly. The food and drinks menus were both extensive. My only complaint about the drink menu is that the alcoholic drinks were all extravagant cocktails. Service was decent, but we didn’t see our waitress much. We did get our first drinks and food orders in quickly, but after that, our waitress was MIA. The music was great and at a good volume, and the overall decor was well-designed and tasteful. I will absolutely be coming back!

Atmosphere: The Place 2 Be is a vibrant, Instagram-worthy brunch spot that’s perfect for celebrations and catching up with friends. The black-and-white decor accented with pops of yellow, lush greenery, and playful touches like hanging hammocks creates a fun, upbeat vibe.

Food: The menu is packed, offering a great mix of sweet and savory options that made it tough to choose. Our table shared a variety: the Burger with Fries, Churro French Toast, and the Steak n’ Eggs Skillet. Everything was flavorful, well-prepared, and generously portioned, so definitely come hungry or plan to take leftovers home.

Service: Service was prompt and friendly from start to finish. The staff helped make the experience enjoyable and stress-free. Highly recommend for a lively brunch outing!
