Opted to share 3 appetizers, chicken parm bites, garlic “knots,” and brussel sprouts. The brussel sprouts were probably the least interesting of the three with more sauce than necessary and an unpleasant bitternness. The garlic “knots” were very unique with no knot in sight, more like fried dough ball. The chicken parm bites with hot honey were especially unique and tasty!

This South Front Street pizzeria is a wow. Check the menu daily. If they run out of an ingredient they change up what they make. If they get something new…same. I recommend the pizza…pick one and work your way around. This place hops so get there early or prepare to wait. Update: consistency is becoming a challenge. the center of my last order was soupy and almost raw. previously, it was suggested I order it well done. it was on one side. it wasn’t turned. Dress warmly, heat really isn’t a thing here

I got delivery thru UberEats to our Wrightsville Beach hotel. We ordered 2 pizzas, the Grandma pizza and the Pizza alla Carbonara. I would say we really liked the Pizza Carbonara. It was a great grilled chicken and onion flavor. The Grandma Pizza was okay but too thick and not enough sauce to our taste. I think
the crust was better for the chicken pizza. Overall about 50 dollars for 2 pies. UberEats offered a deal for 20 percent off 50 so with delivery and fees it came to 50 bucks anyway. Whew! But most pizzas at beach seem to be about 25 for a large with toppings.

Second best pizza I’ve ever had. 1st was in Sally’s in Stamford, Connecticut. Best pizza I’ve had in NC. The menu reminded me of menus in Connecticut.

As someone who frequently orders Bennys Togo, my portion of Brussel sprouts this evening was unacceptable for the price. Anytime I have previously ordered Brussels the entire to go box is full. If you order in person the portion is double if not triple. The quality is inconsistent for how expensive the price is. My pizza was great but this portion of Brussel sprouts is offensive.

Benny’s is INCREDIBLE! Fresh and house made ingredients, carefully curated details, amazing service and ambience….and the gluten-free pizza is killer!! I’ve searched high and low for a decent gluten-free pizza crust, and Benny’s Detroit style outdoes them all by FAR. It’s just the best ever. We finished dinner with the flourless chocolate cake (torta caprese)! Benny’s is a must try- we were so impressed!!

The service and atmosphere are awesome. It has all the vibes of a nice restaurant that should produce high quality food. However, the food was subpar at best and for the money was quite awful. Pizza was soggy, pasta undercooked, and meat balls burnt to a crisp.

I will give them another try because of the great service hoping they had a really off day in the kitchen. It will be a while though as this is not a cheap place.

This was our first opportunity to visit this establishment. With a reservation, we only waited due to our early arrival. Our table was available at our appointed time. The menu was detailed by our waiter, Sam. Suggestions were made, and then we had a time for dialog before ordering. Our table consisted of my wife and I and two friends. We ordered a large house salad, crispy free range wings, and the “Meeting of the Minds pizza.” Our friends had the “Grandma’s style pizza.” They also ordered Pork Belly Burnt Ends and Benny’s Chicken Parm appetizers. As my stars revealed, the flavors, consistency, and price of the food were stellar. The service was of the highest and most flattering caliber. The atmosphere is nostalgic of a bygone industrial era with exposed brick. The sound was a little defining at times without anything to buffer all of the fun being had at each table. That only cost one star from this place being perfect for me. We will return with family sooner than later.

The girl I get my facial from kept recommended this place for pizza.. I finally had a chance to try it out. I was craving Detroit deep dish, the closest thing they had to it was a gluten free one.. I’m not a fan of gluten free but I gave it a try. The toppings was with the pineapple jam something very different but delicious and spicy. And if you like coffee cake get it.. it took me back to my childhood.

We went to Benny’s Big Time Pizzeria today!! Don’t know what has taken us so long- I guess the location in town, but what a cute spot with delicious food!! The House Salad was AMAZING!! I split it with my husband, who is gluten free. I wish I had taken a picture. It was beautiful, colorful, and the dressing was light and delicious. Next time I will try the Caesar Salad for sure! It looked very unique on the menu. I enjoyed the Pineapple Express pizza. My boys loved the Margherita pizza and the Tony Pepperoni. My husband enjoyed the gluten free Carleone pizza but said the crust was a bit thick and heavy. We will definitely be back!
