I want to eat here with a friend of mine. I walk in and I thought yay, I love the smaller diners. It took about 20 minutes for someone to bring us menus to order. It was another 15 minutes before we got a drink. And then another 10 minutes before someone took our order. So yes we were there 45 minutes before anyone even took our order and 35 minutes before we even had a drink. Whenever I got my food, they had some weird potatoes that won’t fit to eat. They said it’s a staple. I’m a big foodie… The so-called American fries are not it. It’s like somebody took a plain baked potato and chopped it up and stuck it on the plate. Called it something special. Sorry y’all, it just wasn’t good. I sent it back and got French fries. My eggs were raw and I had to send those back to get those cook the rest of the way. By the time we left, it was two and a half hours. Not kidding at all because it also took forever to get the ticket and then get them to take our money. I won’t be back. I’m not mad at them but I just won’t be back. I have no reason to spend my money there again.

We’ve been going to the Goose for about 30 years. Our waitress knows us and what we usually order (sometimes I change my mind). The servings are very generous and tastes like homemade. Price is is very affordable (meals includes salad or soup) appropriate +/- $12

Seriously, better than your German/Dutch grandma used to make. The chicken noodle soup had delicious dark meat, fresh herbs and hearty egg noodles. So good we forgot to take a photo of it.

The portion size is pretty big so be hungry! Tasty food. Definitely recommended the blue goose special, the gravy was a highlight of that dish.
