This place has been open for 7 years. I never seen it the hundreds of times I drove past it. Today I was looking for something new. This place was seen only because I was looking for places that I don’t go normally. This place really needs to advertise more. The have a fantastic blend of five different countries foods. The have a Papaya smoothie that’s better that any place i have Papaya drinks before. I ordered the 3 chicken tacos. They were perfect. Like made in grandma’s kitchen good. The plantain was as good as my Haitian restaurant I frequent. That’s hard to do. I need to come back here for real-for real. There are different flavors i want to try. The food is off the charts. Lovely staff and choice of desserts just is icing on the cake.

A mushy MESS! We tried the empanadas (of course) and ham croquettes. If textures turn you off, it’s a NO! A flavorless, fried previously frozen impostor for empanadas. Judging by the other reviews, guess I should’ve stayed away from the empanadas. The service was good though.

Empanada Factory Latin Fusion is easily one of the crown jewels of Jacksonville dining. From the moment you step in, you feel the warmth of the culture and the care that goes into every detail.
Angel, the manager, is everything you could ever ask for in both a leader and a human being—attentive, genuine, and the kind of presence that makes every visit memorable. He sets the tone for the entire experience, and it shows in the energy of the staff and the comfort of the guests.
As for the food—unforgettable. The Lomo Saltado has a hold on me like no other dish in the city: perfectly seasoned, balanced, and so rich with authentic flavor. And the Churrasco Steak? It has claimed a permanent place in my heart—juicy, tender, and cooked with precision. Each bite reminds you why this spot isn’t just a restaurant, it’s an experience.
If you’re in Jacksonville and you haven’t tried Empanada Factory yet, you’re missing out on one of the best culinary treasures the city has to offer.

Stopped for a quick cafe con leche, Cuban toast and of course an Empanada…
Despite the mediocre coffee, stale toast, at least be able to make a good empanada! It’s in the name oof your Restaurant!
Empanada was mushy, tasteless and for some reason has boiled eggs in it. No Bueno!
We have eaten here for years, the past year or so they must have had an ownership change. Definitely not what it used to be.

I’ll break this down into categories The atmosphere is very very comfortable pleasant and inviting the music is not overbearing because that’s a perfect pitch in tone our server Angel was amazing I would hire him for any top Michelin restaurant that’s how impressive his service was as for the food flavor was there quantity matched and prices were on point. Chicken soup was served in a large bowl tasted amazing with real chicken in it The empanadas were nicely filled with the chimichurri sauce on the side which was like ordering it for Argentina itself And then of course the red beans rice sweet plantains and breaded steak we’re also impressive The beans alone you can tell they weren’t from a can slow-cooked for sure with plenty of flavor The rice was also very good quality as for the empanada the breading was crispy The flavor and the meat was good I just wish it was a little thicker All in all great place and if you go there Angel will take care of you like if you were eating at his dinner table can’t say enough

Edit: 4/22/25: My husband and coworker who is Argentinan, ate dinner there and loved it. Thanks to his friend who ordered me a delicious dish, the Polo Champinones! I highly recommend this dish! It melts in your mouth!
I stopped in to get some empanadas that people raved about, and now I know why. I ordered the Empanadas Argentinas so I could try a variety and all were delicious! The atmosphere is cute and service is great!

Small quaint place. The decor is simple but makes its statement. The menu is simple but to the point. Not too much, but not too little either. The variety in the menu is great and making a decision isn’t easy. Appetizers were good. The Arepas had too much meat for my liking, but it was soft and tender. You can tell that it was cooked long and slow. I had the Churrasco with White Rice and Red Beans and the Sweet Plantains. Meat was tender and grilled to perfection. It’s not a bad place in the cut.

This was some of the best Latin food I’ve had and I’ve traveled to a lot of places. 5/5 stars for sure in terms of taste, texture, seasoning, etc. It was very addicting and filling. The service was great. Everyone was super friendly and the server was very helpful and nice. The restaurant was clean and inviting. I loved the inside and outside seating options. I came back later and ate again and will definitely return.
