My husband & I went to The Goat for Restaurant Week. It was $30/person. We each got an app, a meal, & dessert. Everything was pretty good, especially the apple crumble dessert. I really liked the Buffalo Cauliflower, too!

The Goat in New Albany is a great spot. Upscale ambiance, delicious food, good drinks and cool staff. The location is great. It is walking distance to a handful of other shops and stores in New Albany. They have a big patio that is well furnished and spacious. I really like the architecture and overall space that this restaurant encapsulates. It has a great feel that is very impressive without being too pretentious. Its a great spot to bring people if you want to make a great first impression. Great place for dates, groups or riding solo.
I like to go here for brunch. Bloody Mary’s and breakfast tacos are my go to combination. Outstanding quality.

If you ever have the pleasure of being served by Jillian, consider your day made. Hands down, the best server I’ve ever had — anywhere. Her energy, attentiveness, and genuine warmth made the whole experience unforgettable.
I was on the fence between the Carnivore Breakfast and the Nashville Hot Benny, and Jillian didn’t just recommend the latter — she championed it. And she was 100% right. That Benny was next-level, and I never would’ve tried it without her confident nudge.
Beyond the food, it’s Jillian’s presence that stands out. She somehow manages to be calm, kind, funny, and incredibly efficient all at once. She read the vibe at the table perfectly, checked in at just the right moments, and made me feel like a regular — even though it was my first time there.
Jillian isn’t just a great server. She’s the kind of person who makes your day better just by being in it. If there’s a gold standard in hospitality, she sets it.
And if you really want to make her day? Buy her some tacos. She’s hungry.

We had the Goat booked for a birthday party, our guests were from all out of town. They ordered drinks and we placed our food order. Unfortunately, the power went out at the restaurant and they could no longer serve us. However, the manager called over to the GOAT Gahanna and they were able to accommodate our party. The two locations worked together to transfer our food orders to the other location so when we arrived our food would be ready! It was the best case scenario and we are so grateful for both locations for their accommodations during an unplanned situation. The drinks also we got we did not pay for, which was appreciated! The server and manager were kind and apologetic. It was service that went above and beyond.

Atmosphere amazing, food and drinks even better. The Bartender Spencer went over and beyond for us. I and my friends traveled from Cincinnati Ohio and landed at this place and Spencer definitely made the experience worth the trip. He made watching the Ohio st game an experience and made sure we were always happy. If you sit anywhere sit where Spencer is. Definitely a 5 star review.

The service was very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was nice. The food I felt was lacking. The pizza / flatbread was average at best. The cannolis I ordered for dessert were soggy and quite frankly the worst cannolis I have ever had in my life. If you are looking for good food, this is not the place to come.
