Flavor and Rich are the perfect combination of words that truly backs up their restaurant name. Service is exceptional and although there was a long wait, the food was quick and hot when it came out….Definitely worth the wait….The Vibes were laid back, chilled with great music background (a little too loud), but none the less enjoyable…almost felt like some New York vibes. Will come back for sure

Our son had bragged about this place for about a year. We were excited to know what the “hype” was all about. We were NOT disappointed! I ordered the fish, eggs and potatoes and a side of waffles to share (at my son’s insistence) My husband ordered the steak, eggs and potatoes and our son and daughter n love ordered the chicken & waffles. EVERYTHING was favorable and worth the trip to Atlanta. Our server was very attentive and accommodating. We will definitely visit again!

Flavor was rich and well-seasoned — I didn’t have to add anything extra. I was surprised by how much I liked the French toast, since I usually stay away from it. The whipped cream tasted homemade, which was a nice touch. Overall, it was an enjoyable experience. Just note that parking is paid — about $6 right next to the establishment.

Food made by someone who knows how to create flavor. A food that brings the joy of waiting. Another food that comes to mind. Delicious restaurant, and good food to see. The crab sticks on the fried chicken biscuits are a moving flavor. A good taste of a morning hamburger. The gochujang flavor, subtly added to the aftertaste of bacon jam, is appealing.

I love this restaurant. The food is delicious. I’ve come several times now, and the food never disappoints. The French toast is chef’s kiss. The chicken biscuit and gravy is savory and perfectly seasoned. The fish for the fish and grits is fried to perfection. You also have to try the guava lemonade. I’m recommending this restaurant to everyone now. The young lady at the front who does hostess and serving duties is such a kind soul. She is so attentive and each time I’ve been there, it’s only her managing the seating area yet she is never frazzled. They keep the restaurant colder in the mornings, cause I guess it warms up by the afternoon so bring a sweater if you get cold easily.. but they could set the temperature to Alaska and I would still come and eat.

Flavor Rich absolutely lives up to its name! The food was incredibly flavorful and beautifully presented. I had a dish with perfectly seasoned, crispy fried and every bite was amazing — rich, balanced, and full of texture. The presentation was stunning, and the freshness of the ingredients really stood out.

The atmosphere was lively but comfortable, and the staff were friendly and attentive.

Absolutely loved this place. It has that cozy, hole-in-the-wall vibe and genuinely great service. I’ll be honest—my big-back self liked it so much I went two days in a row over the holidays.

The first day I came in alone, literally five minutes before closing, and the service was still excellent. I ordered the greens and the blackened salmon with grits—superb. So good that I brought the family back the next morning for breakfast, and every single plate was wiped clean.

My only complaint would be the temperature inside. On a cold 30-degree morning, it was definitely cooler than most would prefer. We ended up eating with our jackets on, which isn’t ideal.

Other than that, fantastic spot. I’ll absolutely be back

-1 hour and 20 minutes wait on wait list (and we think the hostess forgot about us)
-30 minutes to wait for food
-some elements forgotten on food

This was my first time at the suwanee location. Showed up at 11am on Sunday for a birthday brunch. The hostess said there was a wait but could not give us an estimate. We got on their wait list which was on the toast app and texted to us. We sat in the car and waited as people shuffled in and out of the door. There were 7 tables ahead of us according to the app. We waited 1 hour and 20 minutes. We noticed so many people were doing take out orders. We went inside to inquire about the remaining wait time to consider take out instead. When we asked the same hostess who put us down on the wait list, she seemed alarmed when I gave her my name and was like “oh you’re (my name)”. We asked if we missed something for the wait list and she said no. A table was leaving and she said we could have that one and this was when the wait list said there were 2 tables ahead of us left. My group felt that she may have skipped us or forgotten about us based on her reaction.

Our server was very nice. We waited another 30 minutes for food after being seated. My sis wanted to go here for her birthday because of the brunch vibes and mimosas. This was a part of the reason why we just waited the long wait. Turns out this suwanee location does not serve alcohol. 🙁

Food: The shrimp and grits and fish ($25) and grits were pretty good, but I was surprised by how many onions were inside. I have never seen so many onions in grits before. It was in every bite. There were a lot of half cut bulbs of small onions in my grits (as pictured). I also felt that the presentation for the fish and grits was really messy and rushed. The fish and grits ($26) did not have that many onions in comparison. They also asked if we wanted cheese on our grits. We both said yes and it turned out there was a dollar charge added to our receipt for each one. I noticed mine didn’t have cheese once I looked back at my photos, but my sister’s did based on the color and taste. Hers was yellow on top and more savory. Mine was plainer and white, so I think they forgot my cheese. The shrimp was blackened and seasoned well though. The salmon was also a little dry and didn’t pair as well with shrimp since it wasn’t crunchy according to my sis.

The chicken and biscuit ($18) had a lightly fried and crispy chicken that was very good. However, there was very little gravy just on the bottom of the plate, which was different from the photos where it was covered with gravy sauce on top. It made the dish a bit dry without more gravy. The side of potatoes for $5 was incredibly bland and plain. We barely touched them.

The server automatically gave us 10% off our check because our food “took a while to come out” when we did not say anything to them. I wondered if its because they really did forget to seat us from the wait list.

The food was pretty good outside of the lack of gravy on the chicken and bland potato side. But the wait time and overall experience to actually dine really took away from the overall experience. The seating is pretty limited to 2 seat tables and bigger groups would take up conjoined tables, which I believe is why the wait was so long. I think we would have had better luck with timing to going our food as so many people were picking up to go orders.

The hostess also kept coming to our table to take the menu qr sign and would say sorry and interrupt our meal and then bring it back to interrupt again. She did this twice. The strange thing was that every table had one and we were seated furthest from where she was standing at the front door. I didn’t understand why she couldn’t have taken it from a closer table or why they didn’t have a copy up front. It was disruptive.

Overall, the potential for all of our dishes to be really good was definitely there. Some stuff was forgotten on our plates and the long wait really took away from the experience unfortunately.

This local shop is full of southern awesomeness! Service was great, food was even better. Portions were Texas sized and prices reasonable. Had a great time with friends and would definitely come again. Not a big place so there’s usually a wait if you come at peak hours. But definitely worth the wait place.

Let’s keep it real. Atlanta has mid food. But this place met expectations. Exceptional food, Exceptional service. Me and my wife savored every bite. Nothing was overcooked or under seasoned. Grits creamy, chicken savory, waffles and French toast…chef’s kiss. We’re definitely coming back. Thanks for bringing “flavor” back to the A.
