The food is spectacular! The waitress Jenna, oh so sweet. The hostess, she was missing so I almost left. Very glad I stayed! I ordered the steak salad and banana cream cheesecake, per my server’s recommendation. A+++++

I ordered the shrimp bisque. It was delicious! Flavored just right! My son got the chicken ceaser croissant. He loved it! We enjoyed it!

Was one of the best spots on our cross country move. Husband said the hush puppies were the best he had ever tasted. The seafood we ordered was GREAT.
The crab decor was really cool also.

New to Mississippi, and this was our first time exploring Laurel’s dining scene. We enjoyed our meals, but the shrimp bisque was the highlight, absolutely the best! We’re definitely coming back to try more dishes.

Really cool space. Best shrimp and grits ever. The blackened shrimp is excellent. Lots of things on the menu I’d like to try. Service was well done. Thanks Hartley! Always disappointed when local restaurants don’t serve local/regional beers. Support local!!

My husband and I visited Laurel for the first time and we throughly enjoyed our experience! Blue Crab Grill was our dinner on Saturday and it was delicious! We had the shrimp and crab dip as an appetizer. My husband had the seafood platter and I had their famous firecracker shrimp. Kit was our server and she was great! She made our time there even more enjoyable. Highly recommend!

Leaving this review because people need to hear about this! I wish I could leave 0/5 stars!!! I am from out of town but I ate at Blue Crab Grill with my husband maybe a week or so ago and had the most awful service from Sam. She came off as very rude and uninterested in us. We almost never got refills and she was very slow to attend to us. I told my close friend about this experience and she told me that about a month ago she had a similar experience but with a different server, Kitt.
She told me that Kitt came off as mean and unapproachable. That she never smiled at them once.
She said that she believes she heard her or someone else yelling in the kitchen, which is very unprofessional.
She also said that she food was tasty and warm but very dry in the top. I am assuming they leave the food under a heat lamp. The worst part about all of this is that when I called to speak with the manager about the issue and all she did was laugh and hang up in my face! Her name was Amy. I was not truly upset about the issue until | spoke with the manager and she seemed like she could not care less. I hope this review gets to the owner and anyone else who considers eating there.

The wife and I went for an early dinner before going to a game. The atmosphere was nice. The service was excellent and our waitress Sam was excellent. She was attentive and answered all of our questions since it was our first time dining there. We had the New Orleans redfish and the ‘Let It Snow” crabs. The blackened redfish was served over a bed of rice with a creamy sauce with crawfish, a roll, salad and a side. I chose the loaded baked potato as a side. The snow crabs were served with corn, potatoes, shrimp and sausage.
The salad was excellent. The greens and veggies were fresh and the balsamic vinaigrette dressing was good. The loaded baked potato was also very good. The redfish was above average. The bed of rice was underwhelming, but the cream sauce with crawfish saved the day. The sauce brought everything together. The items in the crabs boil were perfectly cooked and well seasoned. We chose the medium spice level. The corn and potatoes nicely absorbed the flavors of the boil. The shrimp were not overcooked, and while I liked the sausage, I’ve had better. The snow crab was the star. It was perfectly cooked. It was a great casual dining experience with very good food.
If you are in Laurel, definitely give them a try. We will definitely be back the next time we are in Laurel. I recommend it wholeheartedly!

Food was fresh and delicious. Our waitress was very attentive and pleasant. Only slight downfall was the lack of decor. The crawfish and crab bread was amazing ! We also had the poor man’s lobster and the shrimp and grits which were also fresh and delicious. We will definitely be back!

Absolutely amazing staff from hostess to waitress, we even had another person (possibly manager) check on us. Royal reds were fishy smelling and overcooked along with the corn. Seemed like it was boiled for an entire day. Red fish tacos were completely different from a typical one, but I actually liked how they were made, kind of hamburger like and the flavor was great. The restaurant itself is industrial style but could use a little something, a bit too unfinished and not cozy at all unless you get a booth table.
