Highly recommend Mizu. We will be back
I’ve eaten at Mizu several times and ordered take out through DoorDash. I highly recommend their hibachi lunch platters (not pictured) and sushi. Any type of sushi will do. I typically go for the lobster roll (not pictured) and any sashimi or nigiris.

Rolls were delicious as was the portion sizes!!
A must visit, we will be back!! Thanks for the fried rice
When I picked up the menu I kept to the side (I always keep a menu to the side, never know how hungry you are), a guy came over to take it. I shook my head and told him no I was still hungry and he sorta pursed his lips like he was expecting me to leave. The apps were good (especially the Fantasy Island, which actually tasted fresh), but the boat (I get a lover’s boat at a lot of sushi places — cost effective and filled with classics) was tough and tasted almost room temperature. Sashimi should always be chilled and should melt on your tongue; this did not. I couldn’t even finish it it tasted so bad (the shrimp tempura it came with was okay, but my husband was the one to finish it because it was pretty underwhelming for me). The Fantasy Island was little cubes of raw fish and I’m not sure if those were cut last or what because they tasted really good and literally melted. The boat…waste of time, money, and effort. My husband and I were left unsatisfied.
Our friend got fried rice, spicy tuna sushi and some hand rolls. He said the rice was delicious and the spicy tuna sushi was average, but that he was disappointed in the handrolls. He also said that his drink was immediately flat when he got it. We took some deserts home, which we ate after going somewhere else to be filled, and they were okay. The deserts were about $6 and were the type of pre-frozen/chilled deserts you get at a local supermarket; not bad, but nothing to write home about.
The food and the atmosphere look great (the three of us thought our booth was a little uncomfortable to sit in though). But, if you’re looking for pictures for your socials, this is 100% the place. The atmosphere gives a quality location, but the service (or at least mine) was hurry up, so I can seat the next person (we were seated immediately since we didn’t want hibachi, so that’s a plus). The price was no more or less than any other sushi place you’d go to in the Clarks Summit/Scranton/Wilkes Barre area. But, if you’re looking for quality of food, I’d recommend go somewhere else. It could be that we went on a Friday night (we were there between 6:30PM and 7:45PM), but to me that’s no excuse. Not interested in trying again. Oh. And you have to ask for a desert menu.
Also the service was very attentive. Great service.
We stay here quite often next door during travel. We will definitely be back.
