Today was the 2nd time I’ve been to this location in the last month, and service and quality have dropped drastically recently at this Waffle House.
The last time I was here, service was slow, and the few times the waitress came to check on our table, I had to ask for a refil as they never bothered to check on our drinks. Our food was slow to come out, and our waffles were burnt. I didn’t want to judge too harshly at the time since they were busy.
Today, only 2 other tables were full when we arrived, and despite there being about 6 employees in the resturaunt, it took about 15 minutes for someone to come and check on our table. I only started counting the time after we had been waiting for a while already, so it may have honestly been a longer wait.
Our food came out relatively fast, about 10 minutes, but the waitress also forgot to bring out our drinks, and we had to flag her down and ask for them after sitting with our food for another 5 minutes or so. I got a waffle also, which came out about a while after my main food. This is now the 2nd time I’ve been here that my waffle was undersized and didn’t even make a full circle. After asking for our drinks, we also never got refils, and our waitress never came to our table except to drop off items. This is genuinely the worst service I’ve had at a resturaunt in a LONG time.

Well, I have ate here twice in two weeks and had similar experiences both times. The food was average at best. The waffles are small, thin, and oddly shaped while most of them appeared to be burned. The bacon was way overcooked. One of my biggest concerns is the sanitation grade of a 90. While still an A that is quite low in my opinion. The kitchen area looks well organized but if you look real closely it’s quite dirty. The tables were very sticky from dried syrup. Three girls working, two waiting the few tables and one cooking. The waitresses won’t hitting on much either visit. They never refill drinks or anything. I hate to complain too much about Waffle House in general but it’s just disappointing for as much as it cost now. I grew up on Waffle House and it’s far from what it used to be.

The employees were talking and laughing very loudly. They were very disruptive our party had to ask the server to ask the employees to quiet down. The request was largely ignored. They were counting registers on the counter near our table. By far the worst waffle house experience ever. We will never stop there again. Also the lettuce on my BLT was brown and old9

If I could give 0 i would. I went wanting some good waffle house and instead had to ask for everything over again. Waffle wrong, eggs wrong, no extra side as asked for at the beginning. Then had a group of people naming our waiter and beating the table and making a huge scene that I just got my food to go so I could have a decent dinner. Not often do I leave a one star rating for a place, but this waffle house doesn’t practice the waffle house traditional way of cooking, or serving it’s customers. The staff had a poor professional air about themselves. The waiter was un kept, failed to reach even the minimum standards of service. The food was ill prepared and not to the traditional standards of a Waffle house. There was only 4 other customers in the restaurant with the staff slumbering around when the place had used dishes on 2 tables and the cooking area needed visible trash to be picked up and the area cleaned up. The staff was loud and the conversations between them wasn’t suitable for customers to listen I have been going to Waffle house restaurants for years and I know although it’s never a 5 star restaurant I have experienced great service and quick good tasting food friendly staff and a clean restaurant. This place didn’t offer any of this. I wouldn’t recommend this place.

I used to love coming to this Waffle House but they’ve fallen off terribly. Dirty tables, extremely slow service and the new waiter with colorful braids and long nails was completely ditzy and incompetent. It took over 30 minutes for a simple to go order.

This place was the most welcoming and efficient establishment we’ve ever had breakfast at. They had to go orders timed down to the minute informing guests how long it would be before placing order.

Food was good as always but the food came out at all different times. I ask for sugar free syrup, creamer and sweet and low. I had to remind my server for each item as she was preoccupied with the hang out of it all. My life didn’t get hers until I was about done and the crew was yelling across the restaurant to each other. I know there’s a level of yelling all the time but this was pure ruckus and in called for. I put in noise canceling headphones and it was still REALLY loud! Waffle house we love ya but this is likely my last visit at this location.

Given this location 3 chances before my review. 1st visit the waitress did not want to work so we had bad service from the food being burnt and sloppy to no drink until after the meal 2nd visit we sat down to almost empty dinner waited 20 min for a waitress none wanted to serve us so we left. 3rd visit we waited 30 min for a spot at the top bar and when she after 10 min came to take order the other waitress started serving plates everywhere delaying our service for another 10 min all to recieve burnt food again and bad attitudes this location is worth the SKIP. couple miles up is Triangle waffle and it’s a lot better.
