I just ordered dinner from Moes, two plates.
The food is absolutely delicious, and I’m convinced the people working there are Gods people, they are the nicest people and very intentional how they treat guests. I went in to pick up my call in order 30 minutes before they closed and they had such high spirits that it truly made my day.
If you’re looking for great food and amazingly caring people to serve it to you…come to Moes on Asheville Highway.
The man at the register and the gentleman outside working the pit made me smile from ear to ear and I truly appreciate their service as well as all the other people who work there.

I really enjoyed the pulled pork sandwich combo! The BBQ has a light vinegar flavor and the red sauce is the perfect pairing with the potato bun! For my 1st side, I picked the mac’n’cheese. The second I took a bite I was instantly transported back to the days of potluck dinners where some sweet old lady in church would bake a giant sized mac’n’cheese dish of which I could never get enough of. And then for my 2nd side I scored the jackpot! Banana cream pudding- just unbelievably good. In fact, it was so good that I got an additional side of it afterwards to go.
For me and my wife, Moe’s Original BBQ is the best BBQ place we’ve found so far in Hendersonville, North Carolina.

Moe’s came recommended and it didn’t disappoint, the rotisserie chicken was excellent along with the pulled pork along with Mac & cheese, baked beans and collard was delicious. If you’re looking for food that’s full of flavor you can go wrong here.

I’ve been eating at Moe’s locations going on 10 years now. Never have I been served a meal that was unacceptable, until now. I took my son there for his birthday dinner and the smoked chicken plate we ordered was not good. It was left over, heated up, dried up and a extremely small grade of chicken now. The size didn’t matter, I couldn’t eat it regardless. The sides and jalapeno cornbread were good, as usual. I went to the counter as we departed, and couldn’t find an employee, so we left, unhappy. Sorry, Hendersonville Moe’s.

The friendliest staff we have encountered in a while! They were incredibly kind to our family and went above and beyond to treat us so great! The food was delicious. We loved the wings, turkey, and the cornbread was to die for! Top notch service and experience which is hard to come by nowadays!

Super scrumptious BBQ! Never had eaten there before, and I’d definitely go back. Staff was great, the pulled pork was powerfully addictive, and I’ll be back!
Not I only gave a 4 for atmosphere because the two booths they have are a bit dated, and if you’re sitting on the side sharing the back of the booth with the next table, you get to feel every time they shift or get up and down.
There’s plenty of outdoor seating if the weather supports outside dining, so don’t let that make you miss their super yummy food. Oh, if you’re a fan of sweet potato casserole or banana pudding, just navigate there now.

So glad they are open again after the flood!! The place looks great & shows all the hard work! Pulled pork, corn bread, baked beans and 1 of the very few places that knows how to make awesome collard greens! All of it was really good. Service was super even as I got there 20 minutes before they closed for a to go order!

Best BBQ EVER! Ms. Amber & Ms. Barbara were there taking orders and generally just being friendly, helpful and just simply nice. Husband & I on vacay, saw reviews that said this was a place not to miss. So true. Ckn wings, pulled pork, corn bread one of the best. We know good food because I can cook! So when I say this food is noteworthy, trust me. The food, Amber & Barbara will not disappoint. Adding Moe’s to our list of Places To Eat. Yum!

It was okay. The ribs were fatty without a lot of flavor. I didn’t care for the potato salad, oddly sweet. The squash casserole was decent. The cornbread was like Texas Toast jalapeno cornbread, not my thing. I wish they had more than 2 sauces. Order at the counter, sit inside or outside at picnic tables. No beer or wine, just Styrofoam cups from self-service machine. For the price, I wouldn’t go back. I wish them luck.
