I went for the first time to celebrate my birthday tonight! I have multiple food allergies and some current health concerns, and Thai cuisine seemed like a good choice. Dinner was excellent!

My family members who were with me tend to be less adventurous in their cuisine choices than I am, but we all thoroughly enjoyed our meals AND had enough to take home for another meal. Pad See Eaw, Shiitake Chicken, Chicken Satay, and veggie dumplings (fried) were enjoyed before we finished with a plate of mango sticky rice.

The hostess Stephanie and our server Gina both provided an excellent experience! I prepared a list of dishes I was interested in, and Gina was able to answer all of my questions about my dietary needs. I was pleased to learn that almost all of my selections were available to meet my dietary restrictions.

While this was our first visit, our whole party agreed that it will not be our last! We dined in, but the restaurant appears to do thriving carryout business as well.

This was my second time coming to Thai House. The food is very good, huge portions and fairly priced. Our wait time to even place our order was over 20 minutes.
By time we got our order, 2 of the meals came out together and my noodles were cold on top. We had to wait another 5-10 minutes for the 3rd meal.
To make matters more annoying two other tables that were sat after us had their food and were gone by time we received our meals and were done.
They did comp our dumplings however I personally feel like more could have been done.

First time and it was okay. Placed the order online for pickup. The parking lot is a massive crater, be careful of your vehicles. The food however was ready when I got there. Ordered the appetizer sampler, pad thai noodles and house fried rice. I added shrimp to both the rice and noodles dishes. Talk about skimping! Each dish only had 3 shrimp! Smh. The eggrolls were soggy, the crab rangoon was nothing spectacular. The noodles were just okay but dry. We will try other Thai restaurants in the city, this one was not it. 3 stars for easy online order, fast pickup and good customer service.

This is a great Thai restaurant with a nice interior and friendly service. We came in on Saturday evening and we were seated immediately.

First, The atmosphere is pleasant. We were seated at a booth, which featured plenty of room, which was spacious and comfortable. The decor and lighting is nice, although the music was too loud for my taste, and there were periods where the music would cut off and it was totally silent which creates an awkward drop that makes conversation difficult.

Second, the food was very great. They have options ranging from non spicy to very spicy, So everyone can find something to suit their taste. The dumplings were a little bit dry, but I’ve had dumplings from this restaurant before that weren’t, so I think it was just this time.

Overall, this is a great option for Thai food. I don’t consider this restaurant highly authentic, as the food is Americanized, but it tastes great and I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone in this part of Kansas City looking for Asian cuisine.

Thai House is great! We have gotten takeout from here before and enjoyed it. Today, I dined in for lunch and had a very lovely server. She was so kind and helpful. She never mentioned her name, but I was impressed by her kindness and knowledge of the menu.

The interior of the restaurant is very cool and fun, with some traditional Thai decorations and a nice feel for an older place.

I enjoyed the spring rolls with chicken. Next time, I will pay the $3 add on fee for shrimp. I didn’t see that on the menu, but the server mentioned that it was her favorite when she brought the check.

I had the panang curry with pork and white rice, medium spice. They brought a spice tray, but this was plenty spicy for me. LOVED it! The veggies were fresh, and the pork was very nice. It was cooked well, and I enjoyed it. There are several restaurants in this area, and Thai House is one of the best. I would certainly return for lunch or dinner, or order carry out again.

This was my first time at Thai House, and it was such a great experience. The service was excellent — our server was attentive, friendly, and made us feel very welcome. The food was absolutely delicious, full of authentic flavor, and beautifully prepared. From the moment we arrived, we felt well taken care of. I’ll definitely be coming back!
Highly recommended ❤️

The food is so good. Don’t really like the pho. I got an order of crab Rangoon, the pho combo with beef, chicken and shrimp, the pad Thai, the gaprow with pork instead of the sweet beef, spicy wings and house fried rice to go.

The presentation was so beautiful and very delicious. Which they gave sauces for my rice and pad Thai. The sauce for the wings is to die for n

My partner and I decided to try Thai House for the first time on valentines. The service was absolutely incredible and the Pho and Pad Tai were so so delicious! Not to mention the live music on this particular night was a very pleasant surprise that elevated our time. They had a DJ who would switch from playing great valentines theme songs to actually singing himself! Our server, Ottao (i’m sorry i don’t quite remember how to spell his name..) was so sweet and very helpful. This was more than just dinning in, it was an entire experience! I genuinely had a great time with great food for a respectable price (shout out to their valentines special). 10/10 would try again!!
Note: the portion sizes were large, so there was definitely more to enjoy 🙂

This used to be my favorite Thai restaurant of all time, but since the change in ownership, it sadly no longer feels like the same place. The overall experience has declined in several noticeable ways.

The service was particularly disappointing. The waitstaff came across as unfriendly and disengaged, almost as if customers were an inconvenience rather than welcomed guests. That shift alone significantly affected the atmosphere and enjoyment of the meal.

The menu also lacks the diversity it once had. What used to feel vibrant and thoughtfully varied now feels overly simplified, with far fewer options than expected from a Thai restaurant of this caliber.

Additionally, the automatic gratuity applied to groups of six or more felt uncalled for. This does not strike me as the type of establishment where an extra service charge would normally be expected. In fact, I believe our table would have gladly left a more generous tip had that decision been left to us rather than imposed.

Overall, the experience was disappointing compared to what this restaurant once was. I truly hope it can regain the warmth, service, and quality that originally made it such a standout.
