This was my first time at this local favorite in Whittier. The rustic and cowboy themed interior reminded me of stepping back in to the Good Ol West.
When patrons walk in the menu is conveniently posted by a covered wagon salad bar and soda fountain bar.
I opted for the 8oz tip sirloin with a baked potato and a salad.
Plenty of options and dressings at the salad bar.
My steak was cooked to perfection and well seasoned and juicy. My baked potato was fresh and steaming hot. I truly enjoyed my steak dinner. A wonderful dining experience in the Ol west
If you ever are in Whittier stop into this iconic western steakhouse restaurant.
Top notch service by our server, Marisa.

First time here, I thought it was a regular restaurant with servers, but it isn’t. Kinda feels like a Sizzler but wayyyyyy better! The steaks are good price, and all the sides where delicious. They have a bake potato toppings bar and a steak topping bar. I will define come back asap. The cheese bread is the best I have ever eaten!!!!

A very nice cozy restaurant. Everyone there was very nice and helpful. They checked on us often. It was our 2nd time being there and look forward to going many more times. The food is delicious. The steak was truly cooked to our liking flavor was there. Beans, baked potatoes, and the salad was delicious. I like how they offer all the different type of toppings for your foods. And the sundae ice cream was good. Can’t wait to go back!

I’ve been around here a bunch, but never actually stopped in until today. So glad I did, ’cause Elizabeth totally made my day! She was super sweet and awesome, got my order in a flash, and even brought my amazing food right to me, also, Todd and Danny are super great guys behind the grill. Seriously, if you’re ever nearby, you gotta check this place out for the great food and to say hi to Elizabeth, Jocelyn, Danny, Todd and Marrisa.

Love this place! Drove from North Hollywood to eat at this restaurant several times. Great price for the quality and size of portions. Definitely one of my favorite steak houses in the LA and surrounding area.
The cherry pie ala mode was incredible!!!
The staff is always so Friendly and Service is quick!!
A Must Try!!

First and last time here. They have a process in ordering with no clear instructions. Was not greeted at the start. Got scolded for not following their process. Couldn’t find a table the wasn’t clean. Asked to have the table cleaned but was ignored. Mistakes on orders and staff is not friendly and 95% of it is self serve but they ask for tips…lol. Takes forever to get your food. Food was not the greatest. Steak taste like they bought it next door at the supermarket. I ordered medium rare and got well done. Disappointed. The place has potential if managed better. Sad.

We visits on January 31st which was my son’s birthday. We came here because of the high reviews but don’t let those trick you! The grilled main courses where horrible. The salad potato and ice cream bars are great and well worth the value. The steaks and fish are horrible but it is probably the person at the grill who needs more training or needs to be replaced. Regardless of how we asked the food to be cooked it came out over well done dry as leather and absolutely horrible and a complete disappointment. Even sending them back to be remade they came back worse than the original. It was clear the person on the grill can’t cook and needs to be replaced. Such a disappointment especially for such a special day. The staff on the other hand were amazing.

Country/Western atmosphere with it’s covered wagon salad bar and western decor and country music through the speakers. It’s cute. As you walk in, the hostess actually takes your order from the menu hanging over her head. Prices are reasonable. Example, my 8oz Top Sirloin steak with 2 sides and cheese toast was a little over $17. The salad bar could be one of your sides. You pay at the register before finding your seat. There is an area with all the fixings for your baked potato (self-serve) and next to it are toppers you might want on your steak, like grilled onions, peppers, au jus, sauteed mushrooms. Interesting, right? We liked the restaurant and the concept. It’s been around for a long time and lots of people enjoy it. Your entrees get brought to your table. Everything else you get on your own including your napkins and utensils. My steak had a nice grilled flavor but had lots of silver skin so it doesn’t break down when you chew it forever. My husband liked his salmon. I would return a second time and try something else from the menu.

Hubby wanted steak and I wanted something different besides tacos & burritos… found this cute Wild West themed liked restaurant! There was a covered wagon with the salad bar and drinks on it, they even had a potato and toppings for meat your meat bar as well! Food was good and satisfying, but didn’t care for the pie too much.

This place is old and needs lots of TLC. It’s like a cafeteria self service steak house. The ribeye in the photo is a very low grade cut that i felt cheated. The potato is very small too. The salad and the coke were the best thing about the meal. You have a better experience and a better cut of meat from golden corral for the same price. Trust your gut feelings and avoid unless you like tough tasteless cuts of low quality meat.
