First time visit to this location. Not an impressive start to it since I had to stand around for close to 10 minutes waiting for someone to come over to seat me. Place wasn’t busy due to the lateness as only 4 tables and the bar had diners. Finally I was attended to and ended up taking a bar chair. Once seated the bartender, Benji, was my server. He really saved the day for the place with his fantastic attentive service. I chose the stuffed tots for a late night meal and I’m glad because they were excellent. Value of the meal was very good. May go back again in the future if it looks like seating won’t be an issue. The rest of the visit was worth the trip though. Parking was OK due to the late hour but don’t know what it’s like when they are getting slammed.

I’m not a difficult customer, and I say that as someone who spent the beginning of my working career in the restaurant industry. I understand how challenging the job can be, and I’m always patient and respectful. But our experience tonight was completely avoidable and, in my opinion, unacceptable.
My three boys and I eat at this Buffalo Wild Wings regularly, so I was especially disappointed. When we arrived, the restaurant was only about half full, yet we were told there would be a 20-minute wait. A minute later, we were seated.
Our server took our drink and appetizer order quickly, but things went downhill from there. My boys received their drinks right away, but the beer I ordered never came. Our appetizers arrived about 10 minutes later, still no beer, and we didn’t see the server again until she came to take our food order another 15 minutes after that. I asked again for the beer, and she finally brought it.
From that point, it took 40 more minutes for our food to come out. During that entire stretch, the only interaction we had with our server was one drink refill. When the food finally arrived, it was clear it had been sitting under a warmer. Dry wings, cold fries and my son’s meal wasn’t ready. Instead of bringing his burger, the server brought a basket of fries and explained that the burger had to be remade because the cook put cheese on it, even though we ordered no cheese. He then had to wait even longer for his actual meal.
By then, we had been in the restaurant for over an hour. I asked for the check and a box as soon as his corrected burger arrived, but after waiting another 20 minutes with no bill, I finally walked up to the front to pay. We arrived at 6:20 and didn’t leave until just before 8:00, despite being seated almost immediately. The restaurant was still fairly empty, and our server only had one other table, which made the delays and lack of attention even more frustrating.
As someone who understands the industry, tipping only 15% was difficult for me, but this was truly the worst service and overall experience I’ve had at this location. We come here at least once or twice a month, and I know mistakes happen, which is why I’m giving two stars instead of one. But nearly every issue we experienced could have been prevented, especially on such a slow night.

I visited Applebee’s tonight and had the Boneless Wings, which were delicious. The rest of the meal was great as well. However, I went to Buffalo Wild Wings last night and had Boneless Wings there, but they were terrible—they were cold. Other meals are also ordinary. Additionally, the restaurant was quite noisy.

Placed an order to go tonight and was really looking forward to it. We were quickly disappointed when we picked up cold food, even though we were there right on time to get it.
Not only was our food cold but the boneless wings had very little sauce on them. We also ordered celery, ranch, and bleu cheese and did not receive any. That is very frustrating because the bag was initialed that all of our order was inside so we did check it before we left.
Definitely check your to go order if you get one but don’t expect good food.

Absolutely disappointed on the service and poor communication from all staff members. The lack of communication for take out how they don’t even have an eta for your food when you were set a pick up time and your having to wait at the restaurant for over 40 mins for your food. You can’t even cancel the d@g order due to their lack of communication.

Our food was cold, waitress took them back and they put warm buffalo sauce on cold wings. It was horrible. The service was great they tried to help but they are not the cooks. Council Bluffs IA is where we usually go and they are fantastic everytime. Personally I would never go back to the Ames store.

Wow came in 12:10 maybe 6 people in the whole place. At 12:55 asked where the food was at. The waiter let us know he forgot to put it in. Off to work hungry won’t be back.

Waited to be seated and was asked if we wanted to sit in the bar area or the dinning area, we chose the bar area. Hostess handed us the menus and said sit where you want. Waited for our waitress and then noticed two people were sat by a hostess in the bar area and were immediately helped by a waitress, they received their drinks and then were placing their food orders. We had not even had contact for our waitress, at that time we got up and left and I don’t think they even noticed. Poor service. Went to another place with excellent service and food.

Returned to BW’S (pronounced Bdubs) by the loco locals, tonight after more than a few years… Decided to try something different, got the ‘Scorchin Nachos burger, with O-Rings, Spicy Garlic Wings, as an appetizer. Once again I got the the appetizer with the main course, kind of annoying… The taste was okay, really not that spicy or garlically, more of a sour taste to them. Crunchy on the outside, kinda tuff on the inside not juicy like Wings to Go, or Boulder Taphouse…
Next up was the burger which was crafted nicely as you can see, the Nacho chips were on the bottom, but actually had no heat at all to it. Plus the burger was kinda tuff and chewy… Instead of O-rings I got fries instead, after seing how the rest of the meal went, I was just going to roll with it. Right before I finshed the burger the server brought out the rings, kind of tastless, the big ones werent cooked all the way through. The server was nice a fast, free wifi, outside seating in season, places to chain your bike, no delivery I believe, not sure about catering… Probably last visit there, too much competition now…
