Excellent service both courteous and attentive, but my drink did show up with a chipped glass which I guess went unnoticed by the person pouring the drinks and the waiter. The chicken fajitas are a decent portion but not enough chicken and everything lacked flavor. I had asked for mushrooms with my fajitas but received none and received tons of green peppers and big onions partially cooked. The chicken also has some fat / grizzle in it which drives me crazy and the chicken portion was small unlike a proper chicken breast. A bad location but a cute place and comfortable.

Overall, a great place. Good food and servers who want to help. Large, clean, attractive dining room. Large menu, including a good, value-priced lunch menu.

The food is good with right-size items. We each had a 3-item combo plate. Tasty, but not the least bit spicy. Clearly American food.
Desserts are ok, but somewhat overpriced.
Plenty of free parking.
The problem for us “Gringos” is that all employees primarily speak Spanish. Our waitress was good, but struggled a lot trying to describe items in English.
Our bill was very slow arriving because our waitress left for a nearby “Starbucks run.”
On our receipt it says they offer a discount for cash.
Very popular place. Busy at lunch time.
Definitely worth visiting. We’ll go back.

Just what you’d expect from a locally owned Mexican restaurant. Great food, excellent service, huge portions.
And something I had never seen before – a little salsa bar with about 8-9 different kinds of dips and sauces to eat with your chips or your food, including fresh pico.
Overall, we were well pleased with our stop here. Recommended.

It was a small walk from our hotel so it was a great location to end the evening. We had a family of 4 adults and 1 teenager. The waitress really was not our favorite at first.
I asked twice to know what beer was on tap and she basically made me play guess the beer. #2 we were told we could only get 4 salsas and then after that we would be charged, even though they have a salsa bar.. (I’m perplexed)
We even ordered the queso dip for the chips which were also not bottomless!
The meal was good but the waitress really didn’t help with her attitude. We did leave her a $14 tip which was much less as her demeanor didn’t show she enjoyed her job.

Taco Grande was just as good as it was 2 years ago! Every time I visit this area this is a must stop. Awesome food!
Update 8/23/22 seems like the quanity and quility of the food has gone down. Had to remove a star. Added new pics of same dish that I always get. Margaritas still very tasty! Will give them another try tomorrow nite before I leave the area again.

Food was good like usual but the service, if you would even call it that, was abhorring. She came up, didn’t introduce herself, asked if we were ready. We hadn’t even ordered drinks from her yet. We order the cheese dip the second time. Finally she gets the order and that was quite literally the last we saw of her. No drink refills, no nothing. 20 minutes after we were done eating, we ended up just having to leave cash on the table. Not happy.

The food was really good.I had the lunch mexicano burrito with rice and ordered chirzo queso dip for appetizer. It was very good and the portions were large. They have a salsa bar with 8 choices of salsa. The service was good in the staff is friendly.

Not sure about any other food here because I always get the same thing. The taco birrias are my go to and they are phenomenal. Juicy and full of flavor! Pared with a large draft beer, maybe a shot of cold tequila, and you’ve found heaven in Hendersonville. The staff is always kind and attentive. Two people can get a plate and large draft beer for under $50. Give them a try!

I ordered food to go and once I got home I realized my food had mold. This is unacceptable and unsafe. Not sure who thought this was acceptable to serve but the taquitos were literally growing fuzz.
