Mixed reviews. We ordered the Ruben egg roll, that was tasty, and could be a small meal. Also got the short rib w mac and cheese. I thought the mac and cheese would be on the side. The short rib was inside of the mac and cheese. That was odd. Both tasted good, but I wouldn’t have combined them. Beef bourguignon was delicious! I bought four cakes bc they all sounded great but all were mediocre. Chocolate cake tasted like a nice entemanns cake, so it was good, but not what I’d expect at a restaurant. Jewish apple cake was decent but dry. Cheesecake was the wrong texture. It was kind of whipped and soft and didn’t have the sharp flavor I expect from a high quality cheesecake. My biggest disappointment was the carrot cake. That’s my favorite cake and I expect a form, thick, rich icing. This had a whipped icing that was bland and the cake was only okay, not a rich flavor. So the meats are good, desserts disappointing.

This was a pleasant surprise, the restaurant was cozy. The staff was very friendly and the food was amazing. The pricing was great too! We had a lovely meal and a wonderful time. Definitely will be back again.

Fitzpatrick has the best Oktoberfest menu!
My husband and I ordered pork schnitzel, German potato soup, salad and Red cabbage & spaetzel. We brought our brew since it is a BYOB. Our server Sara who works a double every Thursday always cheerful and upbeat!! Must try desserts!

My first time here I was thrown off by the looks of the outside vs what it looked like inside. It is more of a diner than a deli, but besides this the food is amazing here. Try the pancakes, which are huge and amazing tasting. The staff here is friendly, with many working here for some times (at least I was told). They are pretty fast here with your order, and the prices are reasonable. You can sit at the counter here, or at booths/tables. Burgers are good, but their best area I feel is breakfast. The corn beef was so/so. Not terrible but not amazing.

This review might be a little biased as a usual customer, but i think it’s one of the best restaurants in Somers Point. My favorites have to be the french dip sandwich, chicken noodle soup, salads, cheesesteaks and their sweet potato fries. Their breakfast menu is also great, they have great platters, including eggs, potatoes, toast and your choice of meat. Another great option off the breakfast menu would have to be the pancake and waffle platters. Absolutely delicious things to order off the menu, if you’re stuck on ordering. Great restaurant!!

My boyfriend & I went here for brunch today and ordered a pastrami special and caramel apple waffle.
We were seated very quickly, our orders were taken quickly, and the food came out quickly.
It was spacious and clean inside. The portions of food were very large and tasted as expected. When my boyfriend noticed that the whipped cream was left off of the waffle, he mentioned it to our server and she brought a monkey dish filled with whipped cream.
Given how many good options existed on the menu, I’m excited to go back to try dinner.

I have never done a review before, but this has been bothering me for quite a while. I love this place; the food is great, the atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the service is typically outstanding. However, there is a male waiter who I have had the unfortunate chance to hear screaming at his colleagues twice (two separate visits). This last time he was our waiter; we got what we needed, but his attitude was poor. We could not hear his entire conversation with the waitresses/kitchen staff, but we did hear him screaming at them (not *to* them) and using the F word multiple times in a very angry tone. This was the second time I have personally witnessed this behavior from this particular waiter and it was absolutely appalling. Perhaps this gentleman is not in the right line of business.
Next time I visit this establishment, I will surely call ahead to be sure he is not working.

Whether breakfast, lunch or dinner, we can never go wrong here! So many breakfast options, soups are fresh, fresh cut deli meats, pastrami, roast, beef, salads, and dinner specials!
