First and last time I’ll be eating here very disappointed i ordered the chicken and potatoes the potatoes was swimming in oil the oil was leaking out of the bag. Food did not taste good. Very disappointed.

just got delivery for dinner, never had this place before. We paid $15.60 each for a 3 pc chicken strip and a 3 pc cod dinners. the only things we could NOT eat were the chicken strips and the cod!! the chicken ‘strips’ were not strips but curls of some pretty overcooked chicken, so it was like trying to bite through a piece of leather – i gave up. the cod pieces were, well, a tad bit taller than my bic lighter sitting here but not wider – seriously – wouldn’t know it was cod if i hadn’t ordered it myself. wont order again at these prices, not even that – just the way the food came. the rolls and cole slaw were really good tho. not worth uploading the pics i took either.

I asked for extra butter on my potatoes as well as extra barbecue sauce. Beyond that they literally took two whole potatoes, cut them in 4s and served it as my broasted potatoes. They NEVER serve potatoes this effortless. I called and was met with an attitude. The potatoes are my favorite thing and they were not correct and I didn’t get my extras to make it worse. The biggest issue is there was no effort to fix it.

UPDATE NOVEMBER 2022: Praise be to the poultry gods, Chicken Shack has returned their chicken bites back to their deliciously pouffy hand battered origins. Though the pangs of utter betrayal and hungered disappointment ran deep, Chicken Shack has, it seems, learned the error of their glorified chicken nugget ways, and order has at long last been restored.

The chicken was cooked perfectly. Loved the crispy skin crunch. No pink. The diced potatoes are so good. Not overcooked like sometimes they are. Worth buying the extra butter to pour over the potatoes. So yummy. Our coleslaw was really good too. I love the smaller diced slaw they have. The fried mushrooms are similar to a beer batter’s crispy coating when fried. You get a lot of mushrooms in an Individual order. There must have been about 20 in there. We couldn’t eat all of them.
I do wish they had mashed potatoes to choose from as a side. And some gravy. That would be awesome and make a meal complete instead of just their diced potatoes. Yes, we will be back. Yes, we are happy with this order and the ladies working the front were very nice this evening. Thank you. Oh, I ordered online and picked it up. Our order was ready within the 30-minute time frame I requested.
